"Nev and Russ are great in a pub, getting people singing along to songs from different decades that people know. They have a tight sound with two guitars and vocal harmonies. With just the two of them they can fit into a fairly small space. They also adapted really well to our family friendly early evening music night with lots of younger children and parents. They relate well to all ages, come across as friendly and just happy to be making music, which is infectious. "

"Squarewaves arrived quietly and set up without a fuss, and just got on with it while the last minute preparations carried on around them. They started bang on time, and when I wanted to bring their second set forward a few minutes they were happy to. They were great, one of the band members (Chris) introduced himself when they arrived, and asked a couple of questions before setting up. They all looked smart and great on the stage, and were all friendly and chatty. Thought they were brilliant, and I can’t fault them, what talented chaps. I, along with the rest of the guests, was incredibly impressed with their performance. Squarewaves were excellent, uber talented and enthusiastic. I would use them again at the drop of a hat, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"The Magenta String duo were fantastic. Communication prior to the event was top notch and nothing was too much trouble. The music during the ceromony and after during the arrival drinks was fantastic and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the playing was. "Duncan very kindly played at our wedding in June 2017. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were therefore lucky enough to have him playing outside where all of our guests were gathered as well. It was beautiful music and nothing too intrusive or loud. We chose the modern playlist with a few 'classics' in there so there was plenty of songs in there that everyone could recognise and we received several compliments from our guests about him. I would have no hesitations in recommending Duncan for your wedding or events. :) Thank you again Duncan! Hannah and Jamie x"

"Above and beyond expectations. I gave them a clear brief and they performed superbly to 44 of my 80th birthday party lunch guests. Ready to start well before the allotted time. Excellent group and everyone enjoyed their eclectic mix of jazz. We would certainly recommend them and would use them again willingly. "

"Lion Strings plays beautifully and created a wonderful atmosphere at our wedding, she came in, got on with setting up and made little fuss which was perfect with everything else going on on a wedding day. I have had magnificent feedback from wedding guests who saw her as a highlight of the day. Simply a wonderful woman and musician who people should not hesitate to have st their special days. "
