"Soul Generations were absolutely fantastic at our wedding. Their repertoire was interesting and varied, so it was easy to select a really good set list together. Rhona, their manager, got in touch about a month before and asked if we wanted the band to learn something new for the first dance, which we thought was incredibly thoughtful. On the day, the band absolutely smashed it - from beginning to end. Their versions of each song was original, cool and on point. Nearly everyone asked where we had found the band, and said they were absolutely the best they'd heard. We loved every minute. Thank you!! X"

"The Kate's Duo were brilliant at our party. Several guests thought it was a CD playing when they arrived and were amazed and delighted with the quality of the music. Kate's singing is a delight and her partner played guitar to the awe of the musicians in our lunch party! Kate gauged the pace really well and we would highly recommend her to anyone. "

"what can we say... well they were amazing from start to finish. We had over a hundred guests at the wedding and everyone commented on how amazing they were. So many people were up dancing! The only regret we have is that we weren't able to dance more! Big thank you from Mat and Sarah you guys, you helped to make our wedding so special."

"Dale & the band.Thanks for making Mike & Lisa’s big day special. Without your music the whole day would not have flowed as beautifully as it did. The musical collection (and the way we could choose our favourite tunes) was excellent and catered for all the different tastes on the night. All the guests loved the range of numbers which were played in a very professional manner and the night just went too quickly. We’d certainly recommend you again to anyone wanting a live band for any style of future event. Best regards Jon & Cath Baines --- My husband Mike and I were extremely happy with the funky tunes which Funk ‘n’ Soul did at our wedding. "To anyone who wants their party to go with a bang! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Funk N’ Soul excelled themselves at my birthday party last Saturday – they really made the evening for me. What was really brilliant about this band was that they had learned some of my old favourite songs specially for the evening and they brought the house down! They are all full time professional and very accomplished singers and musicians and really lovely, friendly folk too! It would seem that nothing is too much for them – they even played along with my youngest daughter who played Happy Birthday on her trumpet for me! They also looked like they were all having fun performing and the vibe in the marquee was so upbeat that no-one cared about the torrential rain outside! I would recommend them to anyone who wants to have a fantastic time! Thanks again guys for making my day! Love Sally"

"So grateful for playing our wedding. Really made the day extra special, quality and technical skill was amazing, completely captured the vibe. Incredibly professional, supportive and friendly. They provided all the equipment and set up around the limited times we had (there for around 16 hours in total). Managed their system for our own play list around the live sets for no extra charge and offered to put a playlist together for us to take away some of the stress for the day if we needed. Played an acoustic set for an hour and 2 hour electric. Music was amazing anyway but also played a few requests of songs that meant a lot to us. Reasonable and affordable price, great value especially for the high quality performance and help. Would highly recommend. Really made the day and night for us. Thank you so much guys!!! Five stars!!!!"

"Fabulous night with Capricorn. From the outset, he gauged the flavour and vibe of the venue and the audience. He has a brilliant voice, and his guitar work is really substantial; he's not just a three-chord wonder. Everything he did was technically on point and gave a real feel of the original. He arrived in good time, was friendly, relaxed, and polite, and started promptly. He didn't stint on time set-wise either, we felt very much that he gave a good, long 1st and 2nd half performance. He played a long list of favourite, but not cheesy, tracks, and got the audience singing and on their feet dancing from the start. He was friendly and kept the audience engaged, but didn't fill out the set with a lot of pointless chatter, it was just good solid music, performed really well. We really couldn't fault him and will definitely be having him back. 100% recommended."
