"We booked the Astro Jazz Project to play at our garden wedding reception, and we are both so thrilled that we did. The band members were so lovely and accommodating, and the music they played paired perfectly with the chilled atmosphere we were trying to create. We appreciate Ronnie coming by the week of the wedding to show him where they would be performing and general logistics, and when we needed to move their location the day before the wedding this was no problem for them. We have had so many wonderful comments from our wedding guests raving about the trio and how well they played, saying that it brought a real element of class to our event. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the trio for any future events, and will definitely be keeping them in mind for any future events of our own. Thanks again! "

"The multimdeia presentation by Dave Merrick on the Origins of Jazz attracted an audience of more than sixty, with an encouraging number of young people. The recordings of New Orleans parade bands and others were used to illustrate the evening with Brendan Whitmore and Natalie Davis adding the live experience. Dave (Guitar) Natalie and Brendan had previously presented a Billie Holiday show at Bath's American Museum, which was a sell out with the demand for tickets exceeding the capacity by quite a margin. "Neil and his team did a great job and were very flexible and pleasant to deal with on the day. The acoustic set during the drinks was just the right tone for a sunny afternoon, the set in the evening was a great combination of real classics for all generations to enjoy and some more current stuff which really helps liven the party up and the singer was very good and engaging in terms of getting everyone involved. On a day when there was a lot going on Neil and his team arrived, set up and just got with the job which was much appreciated. Would certainly recommend them to anyone else looking for this type of music at their wedding."

"What a fantastic night we had with 106 Miles to Chicago entertaining us all evening. They created a fun, party atmosphere and integrated with the audience at all times, getting them singing, dancing and generally joining in. We will definitely be booking them again – by popular demand!"

"They were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full all night, and they interacted with guests so well. One of our nephews was invited on stage with them for a guitar solo which he LOVED and was such a nice touch. Can't recommend Straight Up enough. "
