Review Centre: Pop Bands

"We found Soul Of The Party back in 2019 when we first started planning our wedding and they played for us (finally!) three weeks ago! Best decision we made. The whole process of booking, planning and then changing (thanks COVID!) was made easy and pleasant by Richard who was great with communicating, flexible and friendly. The band learnt our wedding song which we obviously adored, but every song had our guests up and dancing for the entire night. In fact, the dancing started for the sound check which our guests were gutted about when it turned out they weren’t starting yet! Ha! We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding exactly what we wanted. We would recommend Soul Of The Party for any kind of occasion and know that the next event we have, we will be making sure to book them again."

"The Shakesters played at The Departure Lounge cafe for the cafes’ 10th anniversary and it couldn’t have been a better choice of bands. The weather was not on our side but the band managed to get everyone dancing and keep the atmosphere lively and fun. They have a unique style which fits the cafe perfectly. We’ll definitely be keeping the band in our minds for any future events."

"The Band was superb in guiding us through the preparation for its gig - our wedding reception no less - not least of all in its patience with our frequent delays in getting back with requested information! We asked for a "Dublin/ Temple Bar" feel to the gig and that is what we got in spades. We have no doubt that the Band would have presented other music styles equally as well. Our 80 plus guests loved the performance, as did the 10 or so staff at the reception venue. The manager of our local folk club booked the Band - taking its details that very same night - for a club performance at date to be arranged. The Band's fee for the evening was very competitive for the performance and the help we were given in its preparation. The Band arrived in good time, set up quickly and demobilised swiftly and tidily. Please feel free to contact us via the booking agent - who was also superb - if you might wish to verify this volunteered reference. "

"Laura and I would just like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to you all. We had such a great night – you guys were awesome. The dance floor was packed from the moment you started right to the end. So many of our guests have been commenting on how good you were, and we really thought that contrary to most events bands you guys really had some edge and bought your own element to some classic songs, and they all sounded great. We couldn’t recommend you highly enough! You really made our evening celebrations as fun and enjoyable as we’d hoped they would be. Thanks again guys!"

"Huge thanks to the band who played at our wedding in September at Rudby Hall! They were great from start to finish. They covered our first dance brilliantly and from then on the dance floor was full! The band knew exactly how to get the party going and we didn’t want it to end! "Revolve Party Band are simply EPIC. From start to finish, they were so easy to work with - Sam is quick and efficient and had excellent communication - and, on the night, they brought the vibes to our wedding with their fantastic music. Wonderful singing, superb band and they bring their own lights and sound system which is such an added bonus. Just fantastic. We would highly recommend them. Get them quick!"
