"What a lovely bunch of chaps. We were worried when we were told that frontman Jeremy had been taken ill a few days before our wedding day. But thankfully Sam stepped in to save the day. All band members arrived on time, were super friendly and chatty, and put on a terrific show despite the frankly insane 30 degree heat of our wedding day. Sam even took the time to quickly learn a very special, unusual request that we'd asked the band to play, and he totally pulled it out of the bag. Thank you so much for trekking all the way to Surrey to play for us. "

"Thank you so much for Saturday! Everyone had an amazing time and loved you guys! Our roaming band The Romantics were AMAZING! They really started the night off how it meant to go on! As our venue was quite small we chose a band that could move around and really get involved. Singing and dancing non stop! We had our first dance to ‘Anyone’ by Justin Bieber but a beautiful acoustic version. Everyone in the room sang along unplanned which was so special. "

We could not have asked for a more perfect band to play at our wedding - all of our guests were blown away and have been consistently commenting that you are the best band they have ever seen. It was incredible! We had the best day of our lives and you were all such a huge part of that. I don't remember ever seeing an empty dance floor and have the blisters to prove it!! "We had the best time! The guys were lovely and talented, as well as polite and efficient. The quality of the music was excellent and they got everyone moving on the dance floor. They also drove all the way to Suffolk from Liverpool - legends. Would definitely recommend and would absolutely book them again in the future."

"Funk it Up! played two amazing sets at our International Women’s Day Dance in Whitstable in March 2024. They were fantastic from beginning to end! Communication was great before the gig and they were friendly, accessible and professional throughout. They played a wide range of fabulous music which was spot on and had all our guests dancing and singing along. All the band are great musicians but what a coup to have such a fantastic, confident woman at the top of her game on lead vocals, epitomising the theme of this event. We’ve had such positive comments since the gig and I can’t recommend this band highly enough."
