"We booked Evelyn and the Band for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! We found choosing a band really tricky knowing that it was something we both really cared about and prioritised, wanting the party at our wedding to be perfect - after getting in touch with the band for more live videos of them performing, we knew we'd found what we were looking for! They were absolutely fantastic and quite literally had the entire wedding party on the dance floor - so many people commented on how amazing they were, both on the night itself and many times since! Evelyn is a phenomenal singer and the band are just so talented, they made the songs their own, brought the party (conga line behind the trombone player) and even had the groom up to play trumpet for a song! Great song lists, very talented musicians, so easy to work with, so friendly and accommodating, can't thank them enough! 11/10!"

"Amazing set from a lovely duo. It was a surprise for my wife's 60th Birthday. They made her feel so special, singing and dancing with her. Ages from 25 to 75 all danced and sung the night away with a great variety of song choices. I would definitely book them again & recommend them to everyone, you won't regret it. Joanne has an amazing voice, she can sing everything and James is a great singing guitarist. We all loved it it and would like to thank them for a wonderful evening. "

"We had a fantastic evening for my fiancé’s 40th birthday party. Diamonds and pearls are such a great band. Helen the singer has such an amazing voice and every song was a hit with the guests! "Soul Delight were absolutely amazing! We asked them to learn and perform our first dance, a song they’d never done before, and they did an incredible job we loved it! Us and our guests had such a great party to the soulful sound and upbeat vibes they bought to the evening. The band are really friendly and love interacting with guests. Very happy and would highly recommend!"

"A voice that covers the whole range from soft sensitive ballads to belting rock, all with a wonderful sense of conviction, taste and soul. A great album featuring imaginative arrangements and superb singing- Gordon really can get inside a song and, a rarity indeed, isn't dependent on microphones to carry his powerful voice."
