Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"We heard Station2Station at a friends birthday, and knew straight away that we wanted them to play at our wedding. They were one of the first thing we booked once we had the venue set, and were accomodating with working around the other plans for our day. After introducing our first dance (Foo Fighters), they played a great set and our guests loved the live music. Great energy, and had everyone up and dancing. Would highly recommend them!"

"Golden Gospel sang at the Celebration of my husband’s life, attended by over 300 people. It was an emotional occasion, but one which I intended to be uplifting, and reflective of his huge vitality and vibrant spirit. A gospel choir had been Nick’s request, some months previously, and it was really important to me that I delivered on that. In fact, Golden Gospel delivered - they were fabulous. The afternoon was full of joy, laughter and tapping feet. Jules was great to work with when planning the music, responding to my (many) questions and sending me lots of clips of the choir in action; and the performance on the day was magical. Nick would have loved it. Thank you so much for making a difficult day so very wonderful."

"Jimmy Rae and Sarah performed for our fund raiser in December 2016 , they where superb , totally engaging with terrific vocals.They added so much to our events success , the feedback from all who attended was fantastic the blend of original songs and music was exactly what we needed to give all attendees a great time . "Brilliant on all levels...set up discreetly, appeared at the right time to start the music and filled the dance floor all night. Sound was fantastic and dancing with the crowd was genius and got everyone involved. Made for a great night...just need another occasion to book them again!"

"Absolutely cracking up and coming band. First class musicians who write their own material which is amazingly good. Fantastic at covers too! I would thoroughly recommend them for any type of gig or event. Would be brilliant for parties, weddings, corporate events, anything really as they are so versatile. Definitely worth booking."

"The RockPins played at our Christmas Party this year, and the dance floor was full throughout the night. Our age range is 18-60 and everyone commented how good they were. With amazing vocals, top-notch musicianship, and the ability for turning hit songs into something fresh and unique, they brought a relaxed yet energetic vibe to our big day. Their setlist is full of well-known tunes, but each one has a cool acoustic twist. Whether it’s a slowed-down version of a dance track or a soulful take on a pop classic, they make every song feel new. "I just wanted to say a HUGE Thank You to you all for playing at our Wedding on Sunday night. It really did make the night very special, you were amazing and we have had nothing but great comments from all of our guests. It was brilliant to see everyone up dancing and filling the dance floor. I have recommend you to all the other prospective Brides & Grooms at the Wellbeing Farm so hopefully you may get some more bookings from them. "We hired The Line Up for our wedding back in June after seeing them play at a friend's wedding about 5 years ago. Needless to say, we were not disappointed as these guys have really kept their edge, and from start to finish these guys were incredibly professional, really making our reception rock! The music was perfect for our party (including the impromptu instrumental played whilst the bride and bridesmaids did their thing!), and had everyone up and dancing the night away. The guys kept going right up till the end, and were just excellent throughout. Real quality musicians! Would highly recommend, and hope to see you no doubt at other friends weddings in the future :-)"
