"We were lucky enough to have the amazingly talented Mica playing the steel pan at our wedding. With the guests out by the lake and the sun shining down on us her fantastic performance created a truly perfect atmosphere for our drinks reception. Mica has a great set list and we could pick exactly what we wanted to listen to. We very highly recommend Mica for your event."

"Modern Strings played at the marriage ceremony of our wedding. They had excellent and lovely suggestions for the music to be played, and were more than happy to play music of our choice. Total professionals who didn't give us a moment of worry, these team know their stuff. Ask them for suggestions on how your music choices can fit with timing on the day! Would definitely use again. "

"Every letter I have received thanking me for my party mentions the music - a talented and versatile band creating just the right sound for the occasion. Sarah-Jane is quite delightful to work with and her attention to detail is perfect."

"We really enjoyed having H&R at our event. They were really patient and flexible with the last minute changes we had to make because of the weather. Everyone loved the music they were playing and several people have requested their contact details. I will definitely be recommending them! "

"Love for Sale were amazing, the perfect fit for our anniversary garden party. They were incredibly professional, excellent communicators, self-sufficient in their set-up and of course their music was brilliant. Would highly recommend to any friend! "

"I have heard Ben play the piano on many occasions in different settings - formal and informal. He adapts his playing quite brilliantly to suit the nature of a particular event, never becoming overpowering or intrusive but appealing to the ear in the most inventive way."

"Thank you so much for playing at our wedding - you were fantastic and we had a wonderful time dancing with our guests! The evening was perfect, everything we had wished for. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it and you could really tell from all the laughing and smiling that the guests were having a great time. Some people had never been to a ceilidh before and I think they are now hooked! The music was wonderful and we really appreciated you playing some French folk dances for the French side of the family. From the moment we got in touch with you we knew you were the right band choice, as you were so friendly and professional. You went out of your way to make sure the evening went as planned. Thank you especially for letting us steal you away from your set-up to play us a few maypole tunes and for staying and helping us with the after ceilidh disco. Wishing you lots of good luck in the future and if we ever plan another ceilidh we know who to call!"

"Wow! We booked these after seeing them at the Birmingham wedding show. We had no idea we wanted them until we heard them and instantly knew we had to have them for our wedding. Everything was fantastic from booking until the day. They were a great hit with our guests and I would 100% recommend. Thank you all! Xx"

"Hi Anne, Please pass on my thanks to the rest of the quartet and also the person who was responsible for the amazing arrangements you played. They were very elegantly put together and none of the pop songs sounded forced or out of place despite the drastic change of instrumentation! In fact i'd say some of them soudned better this way. We particularly enjoyed the foo fighters arrangements, and I saw a number of guests singing along and conducting their way through Nessun Dorma. Sarah and I we're running around a lot but whenever we stopped to listen we loved what we heard. We didn't hear a note out of place and the intonation between you all was of the best we've heard from a quartet. It is obvious that you all take a lot of pride in what you do, the years of experience show. I know our guests were also very complimentary about it and we will happily recommend you to anyone who asks. It was worth every penny. Thank you once again, the music was beautiful! "My first experience of a live steel band was listening to “Caribbean Heatwave” on board P & O cruise ship Ventura. And what an experience!! Heatwave gave passengers a wonderful Caribbean musical introduction, playing lots of popular reggae and traditional songs, but coupled with well-known ballads and even some wonderful jazz numbers which went down a treat when we were in New Orleans. The leader of the group was amazing to watch (he plays with four sticks) and showed his huge personality, skill and talent as he produced fantastic sounds from two pans. Great to watch a consummate performer in action. I wish him well, and his band."

"I booked Roaming Wild primarily because I wanted a fun but casual band to provide entertainment for my 40th birthday party and to get everybody involved. They did such a fantastic job, working the room and involving everyone. Their ability to get a feel for the party and be able to mix and mash-up music and songs off the cuff was amazing. Highly recommended and would definitely use them again!"
