"I took my Fiancé to a Blackbeard’s tea party gig in York with a view to see if he would like them to play at our wedding. As soon as they started playing, the place was bouncing and our decision was made. When they played at our wedding reception, we were not disappointed; they were so much fun, all our guests had an absolute ball! Be warned, put your dancing shoes on, because you will not stop dancing! They are just too scrummy to miss!"

"I should say how much I enjoyed the ceilidh and your superb playing. It was a delight to both listen and dance to. You all have an extraordinary ability to drive the music whilst retaining an intricate coherence to it all – quite remarkable when you play without drums. And I know I'm not alone in enjoying the music; a number of friends made a point of saying how much they enjoyed it."

"Me and my new husband just wanted to say a big thank you to you and the rest of the band as well as the DJ for performing at our wedding on 29th May. You were all amazing and everyone has been raving to us about how brilliant you were!!! My mum was standing on chairs dancing away (hilarious to see!). Please also extend our thanks to the rest of the band for their fantastic performance on the night. Everybody commented on how good they were and should the occasion arise we would have no hesitation asking The Cheers to perform at a future event that we host. "We feel so lucky to have had these guys perform at our wedding. They performed an acoustic set during our drinks and canapés, followed by the evening performance and DJ set. They learnt our first dance song for us and performed it beautifully. All our guests have been raving about how amazing they were but what made it even better was just what a nice group of guys they are! They fitted into our day perfectly and excellent communication before our day! Thank you so much"

"I booked Emily to sing at my 50th birthday bash recently - she was simply superb! I wouldn't hesitate to book her again and in fact a couple of my guests have already asked for her contact details. She turned up exactly when she said she would, set up without any fuss at all and then performed a really cracking couple of sets. My friends loved it! She even learnt a specific song that I knew my mates would all sing along to... which worked like a dream! She is so versatile too. We had some 'rat-pack' style songs whilst we were eating and much more up-beat choices whilst we partied! If you are looking for a great singer and performer who also happens to be a really lovely lady too then look no further!"

"RoF played at our wedding at Fingask Castle on 19th August. From the moment we met the band they were friendly and approachable. We loved their twist of ceilidh music with modern tunes and they were great fun for us and our guests! Would more than recommend!"

"This band played at my mother's 70th birthday party. They were excellent. Really accommodating, enthusiastic and friendly. Nearly everyone got up and had a dance, and had great fun (even the self-proclaimed non-dancers). I couldn't recommend them more. "
