"The dance floor was full all night. The band were amazing and all our guests commented how good they were. We wanted a cover song for our first dance but wanted it changed for it to fit in with another track, and slowed down they managed this no problem. They called to let us hear it in advance and steadied any worries we had before the wedding. Even at the end of the night I was offered a go on the drums and was given a wee lesson. Great fun would definitely recommend them. A lovely bunch of people and very warm and welcoming. Thanks guys for the sharing our special night with you. A night definitely to remember. Xx"

"Final message to say thanks to you for the seamless arrangements and to the rest of the band for putting on a great performance for us on Saturday. "After viewing lots of different bands on Youtube, we went to see Soul Funk Classic in a bar in Accrington. The music was excellent and although the stage wasn't big enough to have all 8 members, it was enough to persuade us to book them for our daughter's wedding. We live in West Yorkshire and agreed a very reasonable price including travel for the full 8 piece band. The music was excellent and appealed to a wide range of ages, playing classics that everyone knew, such as music from films The Blues Brothers, The Commitments and artists such as Aretha Franklin. They played 2 longs sets and had all the guests dancing: they were even asked for encores. The band were very friendly and integrated themselves into the event to help create a memorable occasion. Without hesitation I would definitely recommend them for your event!"

"It's the first time I'd seen The Microtones, they were the star of the event at the jubilee event. Such a beautiful voice and great accompanying guitar playing. Also inspired my 11 year old son who is just becoming interested in live music. "

"The choice of band proved to be the perfect one. I booked five musicians to play swing and jazz for while our guests were dining. Little did I know a family member had arranged a special song close to me and my wife to be performed at the end. Everybody joined us to dance and the band went into some Motown songs and everyone kept dancing for an extra half an hour. I am so grateful to James and the band for their efforts. Brilliant musicians, but it goes beyond just playing music, they care about fine details to make your event special and were so charming with guests and family members. I had everybody comment on the entertainment and I personally recommend The Marvellous Motown Souls!"

"Thank you for visiting Redhill Town centre today, I'm so pleased to have heard your amazing voice from a distance to draw me in close to watch you/listen to you, and had to leave the wife to continue shopping while I watched. I brought your CD and really look forward to watching your FB page more updates. I'm a DJ of over 41 years (started in Redhill and traveled far) and only two or three times in that times have I been stopped by sounds (by choice) in the street by buskers. London, Sydney (Sandel the singer who went on try in USA with some success) and now here in my home town, you. I wish you the success you wish for yourself. Keep believing!"

"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wow!!…..What a fabulous performer!!! Iris totally smashed it and was the show stopper for my 50th birthday party She was in constant communication, talking through tweaks and was always accommodating and positive On the evening Iris was super prompt and was such a professional - mingling with guests whilst we had a few issues that delayed the start Her set up was super compact and inconspicuous - my guests didn’t realise at first that we had a singer!!… Iris’s performance was absolutely phenomenal!!…she was sultry, engaging, inclusive, playful and professional - everyone was talking about her!! I cannot express enough thanks to Iris as she really made the evening special If you want a showstopper then Iris is definitely your lady!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
