"Sue played for me at my wedding in August this year during my reception drinks and also in the evening along with our dj. She was absolutely fantastic. I had always dreamed of having a saxophonist at my wedding and she made it perfect. Sue is so helpful and very professional and nothing was too much trouble. I couldn’t recommend her enough and if I have another big party I would 100% ask her to play again. Everyone was so impressed. "

"What a truly fun evening we have all had and this fine musician was central to the whole event . When friends of mine said “he brings the party” , it is very true . It is impossible to go into the different eras of music he performed but it must have spanned over 60 years and everything played with the expert reputation that is certainly deserved. "We wanted songs that spanned our years of marriage, especially the ones we danced to when somewhat younger! Through the Decades did just that. They are very professional, they listen to your personal requests and perform them. Emily replied to emails very efficiently. Our guests were very complimentary of their act and were predicting their costumes for the different decades! People were dancing and those who preferred not to dance enjoyed watching their act. We were so very pleased with our choice."

"Wow what a night! This band are amazing and had everyone on their feet! I had seen them performing at the Thomas Tripp in Christchurch and as soon as I heard them I knew I wanted them for my 40th party! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Gav the lead singer got all the audience involved which was brilliant and everyone just had such a great time. If you are looking for a party band look no further, these are your guys! Thanks so much to Gav & the band x"

"Harvey has sung and dj'd on two occasions for me. Both parties were brilliant thanks to his singing and choice of tunes. I highly recommend him. Everyone was dancing and singing along all night. Great repertoire of songs too."

"Simply put, Professional, superb, romantic & classy....... Martin performed at our wedding on 23rd December 2017 at Rufford Mill. From day one Martin has been so efficient in his communications, and made some excellent suggestions (after all he is a professional!!) Martin played some tunes whilst the guests were being seated for the ceremony, he then played "I will always love you" whilst my bridesmaids walked down the isle and followed by myself and my father. Martin continued to play whilst we signed the register/for photos... and then when we exited the ceremony. Onto the wedding breakfast! After the speeches, Martin played throughout our wedding breakfast... he also threw some Christmas songs into the mix which went down really well with it being Christmas. Early Evening - What a lovely way to greet the evening guests! Martin played for the arrival of any evening guests...... I couldn't help myself and even had a dance. To say the least, we loved him but our guests adored him – I have had so many messages of praise… If myself and now husband didn’t look so good, I think Martin could easily have taken the limelight (haha!) If you have the opportunity, I fully recommend that you book Martin for your ceremony, wedding breakfast and early evening - you will not be disappointed. However, if you only book him for part day, you will be disappointed in not having him for longer. I am sure this will not be the last time we hear Martin play and cannot wait for the next time. "These guys are as good as you're going to get. They are smart, polite, exceptional musicians and genuinely nice guys. They arrive early, set up without fuss and by the end of the evening everyone was tired from dancing so much. The amount of compliments I've had on this band can't be understated."

"I am always a little jealous when I hear that Sonia and her band are playing elsewhere, I’d like to be there to enjoy their music. We’ve had the pleasure of their faultless and magical sound for both large crowds (over 300 people) and intimate crowds as well; each time they have left the customers happy and wanting more, we can’t wait for their next performance here."

"I booked Flux Ensemble back at the start of 2024 for our May 2025 wedding and Martin’s communication has been brilliant from initial booking, up to and after the wedding. On the day they were absolutely fabulous and we have received so many compliments for them from our guests. The group were super friendly and even dressed to match our colour scheme! We were able to request songs from their extensive playlist and also managed to get a special arrangement for a new song to them. I would highly recommend Flux Ensemble for any events!"
