We especially enjoyed our first dance and it made all the difference having you play it live for us. "Our wedding took place at the Merchant Taylors' Hall, central London, in December 2012. We knew that we wanted a band for the evening reception, and some music for our wedding ceremony, but didn't really know where to look for inspiration. The Blue Suede Shoes looked like our kind of band, and their website was really helpful and informative, so we made our booking a couple of months in advance after contacting Ben by email. There is so much planning involved in arranging a wedding. As the groom, I wanted to know that the band would be there in good time, and be organised and professional on the day. We were in very safe hands with The Blue Suede Shoes - they were absolutely brilliant and very considerate to our requests. Their rendition of the song for our first dance was perfect, and all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the band's sets. I'd have no hesitation in recommending the band to anyone for their own events. They were superb musicians, excellent value and great people too. We really did have a perfect day, and we are very grateful to The Blue Suede Shoes for helping to make it so special. "

"This great group played for us at our Community 50/60's Dance and they soon had everyone up dancing, some even started when the group were doing their "warm up"! It was a fantastic night and we got lots of good feedback. We would certainly recommend the Backbeats and hope we can have them back again sometime in the future. "

"Sax Life were amazing from start to finish! They played at our 1920's themed hen do and really kept to the brief, starting off with Gatsby themed songs and then into disco to keep the dance floor popping throughout the night! Really couldn't recommend them enough and they're playing again at my 30th in a few months."

"The Misfit Makers were the highlight of our party. From start to finish, they were phenomenal. The band interacted with our guests and kept the vibe upbeat. They even took requests! "We love giving parties and also being guests and this band was the very best we ever experienced - they were fantastic! There were mainly two generations present around 40ish and over 70 and ALL our guests danced all evening, even an 89 year old! The atmosphere was indescribable and even the bar staff were dancing behind the bar. We left it up to the band to choose which songs, just gave them a few of our favourites from their list and that worked so well - as they clearly could read their audience. And to start with the saxophone player coming in on a solo was just brill."
