Review Centre: Party Bands

"Had the honour of seeing these guys recently at a wedding I was attending, they were awesome. The lead singer was a gentleman and nothing but a pro, quick witted and crowd engaging. As for the rest of the band the lead guitar, bass and drums were again an exceptional level. The range of music they played pretty much broke the mould covering all genres from pop to RnB all the way over to rock and soul. nearly covering every decades best tunes. Had a chat to singer and again I must say a very personable guy always wearing a smile and full of good energy. I'd have absolutely no problem highly recommending these guys to anyone thinking of booking them for any type of event, they filled the dancefloor with every song, had people singing their hearts out and made the evening extra special for all."

"The band for our wedding was the one thing we took the longest to decide on and we are so glad we booked SWB. They were message responsive, prompt in setting up and played a set that clearly took on board the kind of music we said we like, whilst also using their experience to play tried and tested songs that get everybody up at weddings. Our guests, including those unable join in with dancing all commented that the band were really excellent. Thank you to Henry for ensuring all of our timings would allow for the best guest experience and to all the band for bringing your talent to our day!"

"These guys rock!! We had them at my wedding last week and they were brilliant. A tailored set list, loads of energy and everyone got up on the dance floor! Could not recommend them enough. Really easy to arrange and sort everything as well. These guys were good."

"LA Mixtrax - thank you so much for your professional and flexible approach to HM23, from the pre-event planning to arriving to set up on the day at 8am(!) and then delivering on everything you had promised. You went the extra mile for our runners in extending your playing time to accommodate the significantly larger number of runners we had this year. We loved your main stage performance, which had such an infectious energy and the quality of your musicianship was self-evident, and played a lovely part in making this event a very successful and memorable one!"

I was slightly overthinking my party arrangements before as you know but we were in safe hands. You clearly know what works and what doesn’t as the atmosphere inside that room was second to none. "Working with The Rogues was honestly an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. It was really important for Simon & I to find a band that would sound AMAZING and get our guests flocking to the dancefloor. Well..... mission accomplished! If you are reading this then you will know how stressful it can be planning a wedding. I just wish ALL the suppliers who we dealt with throughout the process had been as professional, communicative, reassuring and genuinely nice as The Rogues were! On to the night itself - The Rogues played a fantastic repertoire of covers impeccably, yet also managed to make each tune their own. This is a seriously talented and fun group of guys who are truly great at what they do, and they are still one of the main talking points from our wedding; we had so much fun and would recommend them in a heartbeat!"

"We are finally back into the swing of things and back to reality (which is utterly depressing) and am getting round to thanking everyone for making our day absolutely amazing, including yourselves!! We had so many compliments about how good you were and I'm so happy the dance floor was packed from start to finish. Which of course I knew it would be as they follow lead from me! Haha. Slight party animal. The extra songs you learned we amazing and went down fantastically well!! You should definitely add them to your repertoire. They were my favourite of the whole night. And is was great to see you guys enjoying yourselves too as there's nothing worse than seeing bands disinterested in their sets! In all a massive success!! Will definitely recommend you to family and friends though you sold yourselves brilliantly on the night so no need!! I'll se sure to email any photos that you feature in so you can use as you wish.
