"I am writing this review the day after my wedding, I am still buzzing from a fantastic day! So glad we booked W!RED Band for our evening entrainment, WOW! The group took our celebrations to the next level & had a way of bringing all our guests together to make me and my wife feel absolutely amazing. Fantastic musicians! unbelievable vocals! "We had a small party with about 45 family and friends in an intimate Sheffield venue last weekend (November 2024) and Max provided the music and songs for us. All I can say is Max, you are a supremely talented young man. Your multi instrumental versions of classic new and old chart hits kept us entertained all evening and had us all up dancing and having a great time. You catered for our entire age range from the mid 20-something year olds through to those of us more familiar with partying back in the 1980s and 1990s and we all enjoyed it immensely. Topping it all off with a couple of Christmas chart smashes at the end was a really great finish which everyone loved. Thank you for a fantastic evening Max, you are a legend !!! Thank you also to Sarah-Jane and all of the Team at Last Minute Musicians, not only for securing our booking with Max, but for your impeccable service. You kept us fully informed throughout the process and made sure everything was just how we wanted it to be, all culminating in a great evenings entertainment. Thank you to you all !!"

"We hired the Marvellous Souls for our wedding evening. One of our biggest concerns when wedding planning was that no one would be dancing on the dance floor. We couldn’t have been more wrong. The dance floor was full all night thanks to the amazing talent and engagement from the band. Each member is incredible at what they do and they are such genuine lovely people. We went with the 6 piece band and it was a perfect dynamic, the band played so well together. We also hired the DJ who created a great atmosphere before the band and kept everyone dancing after the band finished. The wedding venue even said it’s the best band they have ever had at the venue! The communication prior to the wedding was first class and we were immediately put at ease and felt well taken care of. They were very organised, professional and everything went very smoothly, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Would 100% recommend booking The Marvellous souls if you are looking for talented musicians, a good time and professionalism! Thank you for making our wedding day so memorable and fun! "

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one."

"ONE OF THE BEST ACTS AND SHOWS WE HAVE HAD. George Michael tribute with Soul'N'Funk Band has to be one of the best acts and shows we have had in this theatre for a few years, so authentic and highly energetic with great vocals, backing vocalists and a great band, the audience was up dancing from the very first song right through till the end of the show, these guys will be back for sure. "

"The pannist that Thomas sent us were amazing. We were very impressed with how they played and array of music and extremely professional. The steel pans were perfect for our wedding reception. The played at a perfect volume for the occasion. I was very impressed."

"Absolutely amazing!! We hired Mariachi Las Valentinas for a Mexican Day of the Dead party and were totally blown away by the quality of the music and the talent of the musicians. They really made the party go with a swing, and played a really good mixture of fast songs that had the audience up and dancing, and some slower songs that gave people a chance to catch their breath. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, they brought so much joy to our party - more than happy to personally recommend if there's anyone out there in two minds about whether to book them, just contact us via thephoenixgarden.org and we'll give you any extra details you need. Totally brilliant and we just can't thank this wonderful band enough - we had so many comments from local families who attended the event and told us how much they enjoyed the music. It almost felt as though we'd got some old friends to come and perform for us. If you're thinking of music for your party we'd wholeheartedly recommend Mariachi Las Valentinas - just please don't book them for any Day of the Dead events, because well be needing them again!!"
