"Funky Friday were fantastic! The sets they played were brilliant it got everybody going. I've had so many comments from the guests of how brilliant they were. I have also had comments from our venue saying how lovely they were and very laid back and helpful when it came to setting up"

Their energy is contagious, and it doesn’t take long before the entire crowd is hooked, especially me! The way they blend genre and tempo – from slow, soul-soothing melodies to full-throttle anthems – keeps you on your toes. You can feel the passion in every note they play, and the connection between the band and the audience is amazing. The sheer enthusiasm they give, makes it impossible to stand still, and by the end of the set, the room is buzzing with the kind of energy that lingers long after the final song. They don’t just perform; they bring the venue alive. 🎶🎵🎤."

"It's always a pleasure to work with The Throwback Showdown - 80s vs 90s. They are a brilliantly talented group of musicians and are incredibly professional. They have a modern edge to their music which makes them supremely captivating and so enjoyable to watch in action! An easy 5 stars from us, and we'd recommend them for all kinds of events, from private parties, to pubs, to festivals!"

"Can not recommend this fantastic band and lovely lads highly enough. Fantastic communication from the offset, reasonably priced for a very talented group! These lads have tons of charisma and will make your event fun and tailor their sets just for you! Our guests are still singing their praises two weeks later. Every song had guests young and old on their feet! You really helped to make our wedding night perfect and just what we wanted we can’t thank you all enough. We wish I had more photos and videos but they are mostly drunken and of people bouncing up and down having the time of their lives. We hope that’s evidence enough for how fantastic these guys are! Thanks again Mr&Mrs Collins Oaklea Barns 27.7.19"

"Thanks to James for helping to make a very special evening for me as I celebrated my 50th Birthday. The jazz guitar made for a wonderful backing during the evening and James played a lovely selection of music that was pitched perfectly for the event. "Jimmy was amazing! He was super friendly and really accommodating. We were quite specific with the songs we wanted him to play but he was happy to be flexible. We really appreciated the call from Jimmy a couple of weeks before the wedding, on the day he was organised and everything ran on time. The music was great and he did a fantastic job! "We had this fantastic lot for my wedding - cannot recommend them enough. Mohinder was very responsive and helpful from the minute I made my enquiry and gave me many options I could pick from. Arrived on time at the venue on the actual day and the whole crowd loved them - they picked up two further bookings form the guests who to my wedding for their own respective weddings. Keep drumming away!!"

"I can’t recommend Joe highly enough! He really made our wedding so special. It was a small wedding with only 10 guests and Joe provided the perfect soundtrack for our ceremony and meal. He put together the whole set list based around a few songs that we requested, and he perfectly matched the vibe that we were going for. Joe is an amazing singer, and all of our guests kept commenting on how great he was!"
