"We had a great night with Uptown Groove on Saturday night. The band turned up at the time when they said they would, did their checks and were ready to go when we were. They were flexible to work their set times around the football match that was finishing (England) and that was really appreciated - everyone was happy! The music they played was very varied and from the start it got people up dancing. A great evening was had by all. "

"I wanted to email you to let you know how fantastic the band were. The first dance was a magical moment and they were so upbeat, tight and fantastic. They judged the tone perfectly and made the whole evening. What a lovely group - we can't thank you enough. If I have any negative feedback for you, it is that the sample music/info that is available about this band does not do them justice, as we did not dream that they would be as brilliant as they were, which of course is the best sort of surprise you could hope for at your wedding."

"Thank again for playing for us at our wedding - you were absolutely fantastic on the day and were also a pleasure to deal with in the run up to our big day. As I mentioned on the day, we had quite a few musicians amongst our guests who were all very impressed with you. Greg (the Owner) also thought you were fantastic. We had so many comments from people on the day saying how good you were and we thought you helped to create a great atmosphere, plus you were great to Lindy hop to! "Garage Nation played at our wedding on August 25th and they were fantastic; great musicians and lovely people. There was a nice range of music so everyone had something to dance to and nobody wanted the night to end! We choose Garage Nation for their garage repertoire and oh my did they deliver! Everyone was on their feet from the first dance right through to the end of the night - we loved it and had an amazing time. The band got lots of compliments too, everyone was impressed - you guys rock! "

"We booked Back2Skool for my dads birthday! Extremely helpful with having to rearrange dates twice due to covid, but we got there in the end! Tim & the band were very professional and put together a great setlist for us! Despite the weather everyone pulled together and a great night was had! Would definitely recommend! Thanks guys."

"Rory and his colleagues played at my husband’s 40th birthday party. This was held on a summer evening at home for around 60 people. Having live music totally transformed the night. Rory's band created a really unique atmosphere. The music was relaxed and subtle, which meant that the conversation could flow, but so enjoyable to listen to that you didn't want it to end. I would love to have the opportunity to hear him play again and I would not hesitate to engage him for another occasion."

"Laura Moon is a fabulous and talented singer who has a voice and repertoire that enables her to sing the most beautiful back ground music and then when ready can make any event rock. She was truly the icing on the cake at our big anniversary event both old and young were on their feet. Thank you Laura."
