"As soon as we found Stargazers, we knew we had to book them straight away… and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Their talent, energy and professionalism shone through in every song they performed. And every song was perfect! Phoebe’s voice… just wow! The setlist was amazing, including our choices and their own (expertly chosen by the band to keep the party going until the very end). Every step of the booking process ran smoothly, and Rhona’s communications leading up to the event were brilliant and really put us at ease. On the night, everything was perfect, and the band were professional, courteous and entertaining at all times while setting up, sound checking, performing, and breaking down. Every single person was on their feet dancing. And everyone was asking about the band and saying how amazing they were! We wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book Stargazers. "

"Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "House of Chords played for our wedding on Friday (15/06/18), and we would recommend them so highly! They learnt our first dance (Paramore – Still Into You), and it was such a good cover! All our guests had a really good time and they had everybody up on the dance floor whenever they were playing. They handled our requests brilliantly and planned their sets in the perfect order over the evening, and are really nice guys in general. While we were planning our wedding, they were really responsive and were always happy to talk through our plans for the day. We felt completely at ease and were happy to leave the nights entertainment in their hands. Thanks so much!"

"South West Band played the most amazing set for our wedding evening at The Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey in December 2023. From the initial chat with Henry over the phone, where he provided lots of details and tips for the wedding day, to Lauren, who was great in the run-up to the big day and helped us with any queries. Requesting Coldplay for our first dance was no problem for them and they played a worldie in The Pogues to close out their set with some Christmas spirit. The addition of the DJ set to extend the entertainment was well worth it. The lads on the night were great fun and up for a laugh. Despite never meeting them previously, they felt like our friends. Thank you again South West Band!"

"We haven't really had the time to relax yet, and proper thank you’s are on their way! However, it was really important to us to write a quick thank you to you both for the simply perfect performance you did for us on our wedding day in Domfront, France ! Church, lake and party! We really couldnt have imagined it being more perfect!!! And we have you guys to thank for a lot of that. We really appreciated the “little touches” like in the songs in the Church and our personal song at the lake! And above all! You got everyone on the dance floor from the moment you started and I cannot tell you how many people have said that it was the best party and best live band they have ever been to at a wedding. (we will be finding a way to write this in a review for you guys). Barrie, you have been a massive help! and made the whole experience not only possible, but enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to meet you guys and I will certainly be recommending you guys to people in the future. I hope you managed to get back ok the next day and that you also managed to have a good time yourself after your set was done, But we really appreciated you staying late, as the meal massively over run! And thank you for accomodating my Dad, as this meant a lot to me. Ok , well! Back to reality. (Trine says hi and a massive thank you personally) Really hope we might see you guys at a gig in the future! All the best and thank you again to you both."

"Mary V was absolutely wonderful. She is a lovely young lady with a beautiful, soulful voice, who really lifted our party out of the ordinary. She was really accommodating, learning a couple of our favourite songs for the night as well as her fabulous repertoire, and delivering every one note perfect. We would definitely book Mary again and one of our guests has asked for her details for their own party. Thank you so much."

"Ball was a great success again, and definitely an improvement on last year with you guys back on the stage. Everyone I have spoken to after the event commented on how good you are and how you sense the mood and keep everyone dancing, so thanks again for a top night. I'm not sure I'll be involved with organising next year's ball, but whoever does will want to book you again. "
