"I was so excited when I found Absolute band's website and saw their repertoire and videos of them playing, it was exactly the vibe we were looking for. We booked them originally for June 2020, then moved to April 2021, then again moved to July 2021! Geoff was so kind and understanding and flexible throughout, navigating wedding season in a pandemic and making sure that we could have the numbers of guests we wanted there. They played on 3rd July 2021 and the dancefloor was absolutely banging! Because of covid we had to have an outside dancefloor - they were so flexible and played at the edge of the marquee facing out, whilst we all danced on a patio under a gazebo. It was truly magic. Our guests are a huge mix of ages and the dancefloor was rammed the entire time they were playing. We were running late and they were so flexible by doing an extra long set for us before the music had to turn off. They played all our favourite songs, and played a couple of requests that weren't on their repertoire. I cannot recommend them enough, they are really well priced for the standard of their performance, and I would book them again in an instant! "Mitch and the band absolutely smashed it at our wedding at the end of May. Everyone had a fantastic time and I couldn’t ask for more. Really helpful with any queries and we could just leave things in their capable hands on the night. Definitely recommend ☺️"

First of all, both members sing and work together in beautiful harmony, and on top of that, they make all of their own arrangements so that you hear songs in a completely new and wonderful way. "We booked The Blue Suede Shoes as a duo for an early evening slot in our festival style wedding & they didn't disappoint. Ben was very good to deal with from the outset & made us very comfortable in the choice we made. The double bass is superb and the lead singers voice is exceptional - many of the guests commented to me about it. Next time I'll have to see the full band line up! Giles has played in a band for years and so there were several musicians present but it is fair to say that they were all completely enthralled and amazed by your talents and the range of music that you had at your fingertips. "The VIP Formula performed for us last Saturday and were absolutely amazing!! They arrived in good time to set up before the guests arrived and looked great in their suits and hats, which worked well with the glitz and glam theme of the evening. The band were fantastic in creating a rapport with the guests, which got them dancing during the whole of their performance. Everyone loved them. The band even got the guests singing, clapping and doing a conga dance. We have certainly found our go-to band for a great celebratory event and would definitely hire them again. They were fabulous!"
