"In perfect harmony Private Function on Wednesday 23 February 2022 I like to think I know a thing or two about music (don't we all!), or perhaps I'm being a bit smug, having been a music journalist most of my working life. So when my friend, Tim, asked my opinion about a band to have for his business functions, I had no hesitation in recommending MAYHEM. I have only seen the band perform once, at a club in Hertfordshire, but, even with my so-called wide experience, I was taken aback to hear such superior use of harmony and dynamics, unusual in these settings to say the least. Of course, the subtleties of the music went completely unnoticed by the clientele, even though the band was very well-received, on the basis of it's well-chosen set of popular songs with a strong beat. The two voices are excellent in their own right, but taken together, the reward is even greater, a perfect blend of harmony, made all the more interesting by the clever use of the arrangements, which make the backing tracks - self-made by the band - seem to be bent to the will of the singers, not the other way round as is usual with someone singing to a track. Not only the vocals, but the supreme skill of a virtuoso keyboard player - when I later learned about his history, it all made perfect sense to me, someone who was responsible for a whole musical genre was not about to lose his touch. As for Tim, after hearing only the first few songs, he made up his mind to offer the band a residency. And so he should....... Jack Diamond, Thursday 24 February 2022 "

"The Catfish Kings were superb! Great musicians. The vocalist and band leader, Harry, sings over a tremendous rhythm section comprising saxophone, bass, drums, keyboard and guitar. Every song played delivered a great authentic sound. Every song invited you to dance. And we did! The band were friendly and showed great professionalism from start to finish.They entered into the spirit of the occasion and were a key factor in the success of the evening. So many of our friends and family, of all ages, were very complimentary about this band. Thanks to Harry and the band for a great night."

"We cannot thank these talented chaps enough. From initial contact, Baz was so helpful and the high level of professionalism continued throughout. Our evening started with an incredible cover of The Foo Fighters for our first dance and the dance floor continued to be packed all night. The Rogues were so amazing that we had family and friends on the floor who would normally stay seated. They totally made our Wedding by bringing everyone together with a whole lot of love and appreciation for their performance. We were literally hanging onto them to keep them going at the end of the night! Massive musical love, thank you all!"

"We first came across this gospel choir when they were guest singers at a wedding being held at our church. They were absolutely amazing. People came in from the streets outside, who were not wedding guests, just to see and listen to them warming up. We decided to invite them back to perform at a Christmas festival we were holding at our chapel to sing and entertain us during the evening. We were really looking forward to them coming back and they did not disappoint. Once again, they were amazing and our congregation one and all really enjoyed the evening. Lovely voices, great harmonies, great characters. Brilliant. We are all looking forward to seeing them again soon. We can thoroughly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. I have been inundated with people telling me how much they enjoyed your group performance and want me to arrange another evening event sometime in the future. "

"M Luke M 5 days ago, Encore review An absolutely brilliant band who were so easy and friendly to deal with. They played at my Mum and Dads 60th wedding anniversary garden party and were just the ticket creating a lovely relaxed vibe with several of the guests commenting on their excellence. Would definitely recommend them, brilliant job lads and thank you"

"A great day, made even better by the efforts and skills of It's No' Reel. We all loved the jigs, reels and much needed help to get the dances right. Tom and the band went that extra yard to help with the first dance and farewell dance. Much appreciated and highly recommended."
