Review Centre: Party Bands

"Wow, wow, wow! These guys are incredible! We booked the Embassy band for 2 parts of our wedding - first a sax and a keyboard for the wedding ceremony itself and then a 6-piece for the evening reception. Luke was fabulous during the organisation process, with excellent communication and very accommodating with our special requests for particular songs that the group had not performed before. He very much made us feel at ease that everything would go smoothly. The sax and keys at the church were brilliant - they learned a new piece for my entry music, played beautifully during the service and for the register signing, then rocked our exit music! Then the evening reception….this blew our mind! From start to finish the energy of this group was out of this world! Their three vocalists complimented each other perfectly and they were so engaging with the guests. The music was on point with not a note out of place and their sound guy worked hard to make sure everything sounded perfect. The range of music they performed meant that there was something for everyone (every guest commented on how amazing these guys are!) and they absolutely nailed our first dance song. You were so good at gauging when to play what, and getting people back on the dance floor over and over again! A lot of the guests had never danced a ceilidh (as it was obvious! ?) and you managed to keep everybody on track, well done! "

"This isn't even biased because they were our wedding band - House of Chords are THE BEST!! The response to them on the evening from our guests, as well as the feedback we've had, was phenomenal!! We're a month down the line and I still have friends and family reaching out to either comment on how much the band rocked, or to ask for their details! There was a full dance floor all night, literally! Such a great selection of songs, building up the momentum throughout the evening to an amazing final set and send-off! Our first dance wasn't on their repertoire but they still absolutely smashed it which set the night off perfectly! Just amazing, I can't really put it in to words, but thank you Mike, Andy, Ant & Ric for being the most amazing wedding band and making our reception the absolute best it could have been! Better than we could have ever dreamt of! I would not hesitate to recommend them - if you're thinking of booking, do it now!! You will not regret it!"

"Just wanted to say how much my family and I LOVED the band on Saturday. Not only were they wonderful musicians they were wonderful people too and they really helped make it such a special night for me, my sisters and my parents. The cover of their first dance wedding song was so beautiful and all the other songs they played really added to the momentum and general atmosphere of the night. They were also so accommodating letting us use the mic for our speech and really interacted well with the guests at the end to get people involved and dancing. We gushed this drunkenly to them all on the night, but please pass on a genuine thanks from me and my family! I also wanted to thank you both for being so ready to answer emails, questions, and even phone calls from me in the lead-up to the party. It's all been so hassle-free thanks to you both! Thanks again for making a memorable event that much more of a success. "

"We couldn't have asked for a better wedding band. They were recommended to us a month before the big day, when our original band cancelled. From the very beginning Anna was communicative, warm and professional, taking into account our ideas and putting us both at ease. Their repertoire is great; there was something for everyone and all of our guests commented on how wonderful the music was! They are a very talented group of musicians, even tailoring the tempo of the first dance song part way through to match our awkward dancing! They were flexible with timings and kept checking in on the night to make sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to the band, it was an unforgettable wedding and we can't thank them enough. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, friendly and talented band. Thank you so much!"

"The Vibe were excellent! Other than their impressive musical skills shown in their profile videos, I booked this band because they came across as the most caring and attentive to my booking needs. I booked The Vibe for a surprise proposal and they reached out to ask how to 'appear', what cues to watch for and how I wanted it to all play out. They were so good with helping me plan it all out. On the day itself the band arrived early and got in to position. The music I requested was played perfectly and the proposal turned out exactly as I imagined. They are a wonderfully talented band and very friendly. Now on to the wedding! Thank you, you were excellent. "

"We wanted to just say THANK YOU SO MUCH for being part of our perfect wedding day. The wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for. We had so much fun and we feel so blessed to have had so many of our wonderful friends and family there with us. Everyone had an amazing time and everyone enjoyed the music thoroughly. In fact, everything went to plan perfectly, the music was amazing throughout the day and so well executed! The sax at the reception was fabulous, even the weather was perfect, so we couldn't be happier! Then the music at dinner was great and the live band in the event… well just phenomenal! Our first dance was just perfect and we enjoyed every second of it!
