Review Centre: Party Bands

"Absolutely fabulous evening with The Newland Seekers - everyone who came to our works dinner & dance loved this band (all ages from 18-80). Really amazing musicians (no backing tracks - real music!) On a personal note - extremely friendly people to deal with and very good communications. Also very flexible on timings - as the hotel we held our function at was very slow on the food service which delayed us getting onto the dancefloor, but the band were very patient waiting in the sidelines. From the minute they started playing the dance floor was packed and it stayed that way for the rest of the evening. Overall a brilliant evening of entertainment and we would most definitely recommend this band and we are so happy that we picked them."

"Amazing!! They absolutely rocked our wedding, got everyone up at dancing… yep even those people . They also were really friendly and enjoyed a good chin wag after and a beer. It just felt like they belonged. Ian was also fantastic the whole way through the lead up and made sure everything went swimmingly. 1000% recommend. You will not be disappointed!!"

"The band were fabulous and made the evening so fun. Amy’s vocals were amazing and communication with Mitch was spot on. The venue was so good to have live music in and Loved the fairy lights and decorations. Was so special to get friends and family together as we hadn’t been able to see many of them because of isolation/lockdown so a real treat! "

"Henry & the guys were incredible at our wedding this month. They were exactly what we were after when looking for a wedding band; proper musicians without that clichè 'wedding band' feel. The dance floor was full all night & our guests loved them! A tipsy rendition of 'you've lost that loving feeling' was sang at the end of the night, but the band joined in & that's a memory of our wedding I will forever remember! Thanks again! "

"Motion Picture were absolutely amazing, the whole act was flawless! The music was tight, singing was fantastic and they set up so quickly and efficiently. They came to our wedding with a large number of musicians in attendance and everyone was so impressed we are still having people tell us now how great they were. "Absolutely amazing!! I hired Stone Meadow for our wedding, they were brilliant! They played all our favourite songs and had the audience dancing all night long! Joe was brilliant at communicating with us, he was quick to reply and super friendly! They played an amazing show and worked with my dad to let him DJ. The band were very fun and interactive, they had our guests doing knee slides across the dance floor which was hilarious! They made us feel special and gave us a signed t-shirt. They loaded their equipment in and out very fast and efficiently. They played our first dance song perfectly and ended on a great song for us to dance to too! I would highly recommend Stone Meadow for a good night of dancing and fun!"
