"The Chapel Hill Duo played at our engagement party turned surprise wedding in January. They made our day feel so intimate and so many of our guests told us it was one of the highlights of the day. "We booked Goldsworth Gerry for a 40th birthday party, and Martin and Stuart were brilliant from start to finish. They arrived on time, set up quickly, and were sound-checked with full lighting, ready to play exactly when promised, even with the challenge of moving gear through to the garden marquee. The set was outstanding – three hours and over 40 songs from their extensive repertoire. They nailed the playlist, shifting the mood from background entertainment to a packed dance floor. Tremendous value for what they deliver. They brought the energy of a top wedding band and gave us a far better party than a DJ could have. Our marquee felt like a proper club. Communication before and during the event was excellent, and they even squeezed in an encore at the end. Great to work with. Highly recommended."

"I had an awesome birthday party thanks to the VIP Formula. The communication with the group before the event was impeccable, and I felt at ease immediately. During the event, the band was awesome and had the room dancing immediately. Had such a great time thanks to these guys, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a latin band."

"The Village Beats have played at our Christmas party at our club in Adderbury, Oxfordshire for the last 2 consecutive years and we have booked them for a 3rd year! The band have helped us make our parties such a success - drawing everyone onto the dance floor for a boogie. They are such a fun band, playing popular music, always adding to their repoitoire and therefore able to cater for all age groups. They obviously really enjoy their music and their gigs and are very competent musicians and singers. I live in the village of Somerton, Oxfordshire and also booked The Village Beats for our Christmas party last year and have rebooked them for this year. Our villagers have said that it was the best Christmas party for years! If you book The Village Beats for your special occasion you won’t regret it! "

"I wanted to email to say a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band. As I hoped the band was brilliant. Playing the first song was a touch, especially as I wasn’t expecting the sax. It was great to hear you play the Irish Rover after the interval as it got everyone up off their seats in their droves. I’ve been to in excess of 30 weddings and you guys are by far the best gig I’ve seen, and I thought this after I saw you at Caroline and Geoff's wedding. I’ve countless comments from those who were at my wedding saying you were brilliant. Thanks again. I can’t praise you chaps highly enough."
