"We wanted some steel band music to set the tone for our Caribbean themed Golden Wedding Anniversary Party so we booked Gary Trotman. He was the ultimate professional. He arrived early, set up quietly with no fuss and then delivered exactly what we wanted. We told our guests that he had flown in especially from Barbados to perform and he was so good some of them believed us! The icing to the cake was that we asked for a specific song which Gary wasn't expecting but he researched it quickly and delivered. Very special We highly recommend Gary - a class act"

"I write this with different hats on. Firstly, as a venue owner who books live artists. Phil is a joy to deal with. Very responsive to emails. Phil and Pete are punctual and professional always but personable and interact well with the audience. Their catalogue of songs is extensive. I’ve also had the pleasure of going to see them on a night out in Hull. They are brilliant! Well rehearsed. Their voices compliment each other perfectly and they have fun. They’ll also take requests and they aren’t afraid to give something a go even if it’s not yet perfected. “Proud Mary” was pure genius last night 10/10"

"What a great day, and an amazing night, you guys were that discreet setting up we didnt even realise you were there.The first dance, you sang Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol, a favourite of ours, as an opening song was so impressive. "We really want to thank The Blue Suede Shoes for being such a great band for our wedding on 3rd August. They are truly excellent musicians and performers. The lead singer can really sing and each member of the band has real talent. They quickly got people up and dancing and they made the party for us. They also managed to appeal to all of the different generations and they mainly played well known, feel good songs which everyone liked (they also weren't too cheesy, however!). The first dance song we requested (Faith no more, This Guy's in Love with You) was a fantastic cover. The Blue Suede Shoes were great to deal with, from the first e-mail, always responding quickly to queries. They turned up on the day exactly when they said they would to set up and they were helpful, friendly, organised and flexible throughout the evening. Thanks again guys! "

"The VIP Formula performed for us last Saturday and were absolutely amazing!! They arrived in good time to set up before the guests arrived and looked great in their suits and hats, which worked well with the glitz and glam theme of the evening. The band were fantastic in creating a rapport with the guests, which got them dancing during the whole of their performance. Everyone loved them. The band even got the guests singing, clapping and doing a conga dance. We have certainly found our go-to band for a great celebratory event and would definitely hire them again. They were fabulous!"
