Review Centre: Function Bands

"We had seen Station 2 Station previously and had said if we even have a band we will try and book them . So we booked them for my Husband’s 50th at Captain Jacks bar on the Pier . Communication was excellent leading up to the party . On the night they were amazing . Everyone up dancing and enjoying the mix of music & there really was something for everyone and not one song where you thought oh no not that one , it was fantastic . We cannot thank Station 2 Station enough and would not hesitate to recommend them . "

"We booked The Backbeats for my grandmas surprise 80th party last week, and they were absolutely incredible. The whole band are so talented, professional and friendly. Martyn was a pleasure to work alongside when arranging plans. The guests loved the performance, and some said it was the best party that they have been to! "What. A. Band. Amidst our hours of research for a wedding band, we came across the Band Boutique's website and in turn found Rafiki. I knew when I heard the Britney Spears cover that you were going to be our wedding band! Not only are Rafiki the slickest band I've heard at a wedding, but you made our wedding so much fun and personal. Mike and I thank you so much - you gave us the most incredibly fun and energetic evening to our wedding, our guests cannot stop talking about the music! The choices of songs were just perfect and your rendition of our first dance just made it for us. Thank you for making our night! And thank you to band manager, Ollie, for a seamless experience behind the scenes - you were ace!"

"We had the pleasure of having Dulcie sing at our wedding after finding her through word of mouth, and we couldn’t have been happier. I was quite specific with the playlist and the songs we wanted to walk down the aisle to, but Dulcie was so accommodating with everything. She took the time to practise our choices, found versions in different keys that worked best for her voice, and even came to the venue the day before to help with the rehearsal and set-up. On the day itself, she arrived an hour before the ceremony to make sure everything was ready and it all felt so seamless. We had so many compliments on her voice afterwards which was so lovely to hear. We’re really grateful for all the effort she put in and for helping make the ceremony feel so special. We’d absolutely recommend her."

"Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band were a fantastic addition to our evening wedding celebrations. We had so much fun - from the very young to old, complete novices to experienced dancers, the band catered for us all. Steve led the band with friendliness and humour, giving clear instructions and sharing his knowledge about the dances as we went engaging those that were spectators! We would highly recommend them for anyone thinking about it for their wedding too, and thank them for adding fun and an all-age entertainment to our day!"

"We and our guests thought Los Gitanos Kings were fantastic! The afternoon acoustic set was just right, and the evening set with the PA system had us all clapping, stamping our feet and banging the tables- it was great! Would definitely recommend them!"

"I'm one of those blokes who sit in the corner with my Diet Coke at a party and believe that any money spent on a band at a party could be better spent but Eccentric Pony have completely changed my view. If they'd have charged twice as much, they'd have been fantastic value. They do everything set up, disco and play - you don't need much more for a great night and they're a fantastic band - they got every one of us children of the 80's up dancing - they got the mood spot on - played some great songs - really nice blokes - just brilliant."
