"Cecily played beautifully and was a big hit with my guests. Several commented on how good she was and of her extensive repertoire. I'm sorry I didn't get to thank her properly on the evening but I really appreciated the extra quality she brought to the private dinner."

"Our father died aged 91 recently and as classical music had been his absolute joy throughout his life, we knew that we had to make it part of his small and very intimate funeral. How lucky (and delighted) we were to find through lastminutemusicians that a professional, Miriam, lives locally and that she would like to be part of this celebration of his long life. Miriam could not have been more helpful or sensitive in helping us to choose and adapt four very special pieces and she played them beautifully, especially as unlike a wedding there was so little time for preparation. We shall never forget the sound of her playing her arrangement for cello of Ralph Vaughan Williams' Five Variants of 'Dives and Lazarus' as my father's coffin was lifted and borne out of the chapel, and continuing to hear it as we followed it to his final resting place. It was the one piece that he had ever mentioned as wishing to include at his funeral, and it meant a huge amount to have it played live by someone who cared very much about her role in the service. He would have loved to have heard it, and who knows, perhaps he did. Our heartfelt thanks, Miriam."

"A rather belated thank you to Zita Silva , a lovely harpist who played at my 70th birthday party at the end of May. Zita was absolutely all round fantastic. We had spoken before hand about a the event , the venue and a playlist. On the evening she looked lovely, was extremely professional and quietly got on with the job in hand and above all played beautifully! We both received so many compliments from our friends about having a harpist and how unusual it was , but how very calming and beautiful, especially during the meal. Just perfect . You helped make it a very memorable occasion. Thank you also to Sarah -Jane"

"Just wanted to say thank you so so much for Saturday! Your playing was absolutely stunning, I'm just gutted I didn't get to sit down and just listen to you play from start to finish! You made the ceremony absolutely gorgeous despite my giggling fit and Rich's "speech impediment"!!! Hilarious! Everyone said having the harp music was gorgeous in the reception too and I loved your huge concert harp! Beautiful! "There is no amount of praise too great for Scottish Violinist. She took a sort of bizarre request for playing the violin during a marriage proposal at a Scottish castle and made absolute magic for my partner and myself. It goes without saying that Scottish Violinist is unbelievably talented and her emotive playing added a beautiful layer to the day, but she also was kind, generous, responsive, helpful, and beyond accommodating. Scottish Violinist is now a permanent part of our story and I do believe I have a new friend, as well! I'm in the states and I wish I lived a bit closer so I could hear Scottish Violinist play more frequently. You won't go wrong having Scottish Violinist be part of your special day! "
