"Every struggling student of the piano must feel some sort of envy as he sails serenely through the tempest of notes, the trills and scales, runs and arpeggios bouncing off his fingers like spray from a rock."
Patrick Cogswell (Piano recital)

"Dear Natalya, Thank you so much for this lovely memento, but especially for the amazing job that you did in playing for my mum's 80th birthday party. Honestly, I could not be happier, not just with the wonderful music, which we all enjoyed so much, but with your kind and thoughtful approach to supporting us through the day. You put so much effort into preparing the music, which my mum loved, and into helping me decide on the programme, and you were so kind and lovely on the day. Your fellow musicians was amazing as well. If you ever need a recommendation, please don't hesitate to contact me - I'm so very happy that I booked you and your group. We feel very lucky and blessed that we found you.Warm wishes, Ruth"

"We booked the Hot Hats for our company summer party – they were perfect for the event. Communication beforehand was clear and easy, and on the day they were so relaxed and self sufficient when setting up that we could get on with organising all the rest of the activities. They created just the atmosphere that we wanted and were lovely throughout…music was great too!"

"I have had Paddy at our pub twice in the last year, the 1st time he played in our garden on a sunny Sunday afternoon, he certainly gave the cottage pub a garden party to remember, he had everyone up on their feet. The 2nd time was a Saturday night inside and once again he had the place rocking, people constantly ask when is Paddy coming back, great singer, a great guitarist and a top performer, this man is a must for any event, pure class. Oh and what a lovely bloke!!! "

"We hired Jazz Eclipse for our wedding in Italy. They drove all the way with all their equipment. Thanks so much guys for making our day so perfect. They learnt our first dance song especially and played it so well. They light up the room and make any night so much fun. Everyone got involved and danced the night away. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants amazing music, people and the wow factor!! "

The band gave an amazing performance and we'd highly recommend them for any party. Our friends and family loved the music and we've had lots of compliments on our choice."

"Just a quick e-mail to thank you for performing at my 50th Birthday Party on Saturday. With all events we were a little worried but clearly had no need to be. All went smoothly and you were an excellent addition to our celebrations. You both really made the night and a large number of people commented on how good you were, you were fantastic! Many thanks again, and will be in touch when I am 60!"

"Ma Bessie and the Pigfoot Band, so as you might imagine, we stayed rooted in the 20’s and 30’s, but with a more rounded, sophisticated feel. No one does Bessie Smith better that Ma Bessie, and we are lucky to have her as a local artist here in Reading. As her Pigfoot duo finished getting ready for the set, Ms Bessie launched into an unaccompanied ‘Life Is Too Short’ taken from her album of the same name. As soon as she takes to the stage she creates an immediate connection with her audience. They are all her friends, and she chats her way through the set. With timeless classics such as ‘Hot Time In The Old Town Tonight’ and ‘Do Your Duty’, Bessie Smith featured highly in the set. Songs like ‘Downhearted Blues’ and ‘Trouble Trouble’ kept the mood intact, whilst songs like ‘Sugar In My Bowl’ and ‘Whip It To A Jelly’ highlighted the risqué fun elements of the music of the era. Matt Foster provides the perfect solid guitar rhythm and bass line support for the smooth yet gutsy vocal, and with Chuck Lloyd adding his superb saxophone it was another fine performance. "
