"The Backbeats played for our Silver Wedding Party and were excellent. They played a variety of music and provided a disco for the end of the evening. The party went with a swing for those who wanted to dance and for those who just wanted to listen to the music. This is the second time we've heard the Backbeats and we would love to hear them again."

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day."

"We had Goldsworth Gerry play at our 40th birthday party in our garden. They were excellent entertainment with a great range of song choices. These guys are super professional and courteous - they set up early which was super easy/slick, played on-time and even did an encore! They really made our party special and memorable, it was such fun to have them play. I would highly recommend them and if we have any other events in the future we will definitely use them. I think they are very good value for money as well, they are very accommodating. Thanks GG!"

"I booked vocal works for my wedding to sing during the ceremony and also for our wedding breakfast. I can’t thank them enough and have had so many compliments from our guests about how amazing they sounded. Tim has been fantastic from start to finish and also agreed for the girls to learn a new song for us that we were desperate to have as our aisle song! You really filled the room with emotion and created the exact atmosphere we wanted. Thank you again, you guys are the best!!"

"The RockPins performed at our wedding in July at Cooling Castle Barn. They performed brilliantly, were wonderfully enthusiastic and cooperative on the day and the run up to it. Their song selection is varied and they really did play something for everyone. They performed our first dance song, our father daughter dance and were our main evening entertainment. It suited our day down to the ground and really had our guests moving by the end of the night. They were exactly what we wanted for our evening and were a complete dream to work with. A real change from your typical 'wedding music'! Thank you RockPins! :)"

"Couldn't recommend these guys enough! We booked Dave and his band for my mums 70th and they were fantastic ! Everyone loved them and they read the room really well (nice background music when people arrived then stuff for people to dance to). They brought all their own gear and only needed a plug socket, so setup was really smooth. And communication in the lead up was great - Dave was so friendly and helpful. Seeing my mum and dad dancing along to the music and having a great time was a real highlight - huge thanks to Dave and the band for an amazing night. Note, we had Dave on guitar and vocals, and someone on keys and bass - all top quality musicians."

"Kathryn and Milly performed at hour wedding in April 2026. I can't thank them enough for making our wedding day so special. They performed for an hour during our drinks reception outside on the patio. They performed a range of acoustic style songs. It was beautiful. My friends and family were genuinely so impressed by them. I also booked Kathryn and Milly for my wedding reception. They honestly entertained everyone all evening! They sang such a good range of songs which was great for all of the different age ranges. They managed to lead the guests to the right places at the right time for the cake cutting and first dance which they sang so perfectly. The girls were so friendly and really went out of their way to make everything run smoothly. Their voices are honestly incredible! They are absolutely amazing. I would highly recommend!"

"Thank you for the wonderful music. So many people have commented on how much they enjoyed it - to have jazz live in my own back garden really made it for me. There was a wonderful moment when I was getting ready upstairs when a few bars drifted up on the warm summer's breeze and surprised me and lifted my heart - I shall always remember that!"

When we need top class performers in the south of England Ceilimax are always high on the list. In the world of folk and traditional music you need to be careful: there are alot of ‘pretenders to the the throne’. The guys from Céilí Max have the distinction of being on top of their game musically as well as professionally – a rare blend."
