"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Katherine’s 50th Birthday Ceilidh – April 2025 I booked Black Velvet Ceilidh Trio for my wife’s 50th Birthday barn dance. The booking process and communication was great. On the night, from the off, everyone was up dancing. The instructions were great and they really got us all into the spirit. Lots of comments from our friends about how good they were. Thanks to all for an amazing night of music and dance. Would definitely recommend."

I would just like to say now many thanks for being at Justin and Helen's wedding and playing so beautifully, we have had a few harpist at our functions and you really were one of the best we have heard. "If you’re reading this then you’re thinking of booking Soloise and wondering whether she will enhance your function. Let me assure you, she will! Having been in the events industry for over 20 years I can honestly say I’ve never dealt with a more pleasant artist. Her charming and sweet personality that I encountered on our first phone call (having come across her online) shone through in each of her live performances. She was a pleasure to deal with and she is a highly talented violinist with an extensive and variable playlist. She was a great enhancement to our event and our guests were enthralled by her performances. I have no hesitation in recommending her."

"Having seen Tim play a few times in our local pub seeing how well he could read the room I was keen to book him for my mother’s birthday party. Tim changed his tempo to meet that of the garden party for the birthday celebrations. Tim played in the background whilst people arrived and were eating. After he was happy with taking requests and the guests were singing and dancing along. I would have no hesitation in recommending Tim for all manner of parties. He is easy to book, reliable and punctual. He can read the room knowing how and when to change the atmosphere. He certainly brought our party to life."
