"We had our wedding on the outskirts of Carlisle at a remote venue, Remy was happy to travel and set up without issue, he played a variety of songs to suit all tastes and then could easily play requests even playing and learning the Hokey Cokey for our autistic granddaughter - a lot of people commented how versatile and consistent his voice and range was and how unique and faultless his performance was on the night- a genuinely lovely young man who is very professional, talented and I would highly recommend - you can certainly tell how passionate he is about the music that really shows - thanks so much and best of luck in the future x "

"Over the moon with Steph and Cornwall strings, absolutely perfect for my wedding reception on the lawn at our family farm. They played beautifully and played some lord of the rings for me! Such talented musicians but also lovely, genuine people for a more than reasonable price! Book them! "

"We couldn’t have been happier with Camille! From the moment we booked her, she was so easy to work with. Communication was excellent throughout, and we never had to chase her for anything, which made organising the party completely stress-free. On the day, Camille was warm, friendly, and an absolute pleasure to have at my mother-in-law’s birthday celebration. Most importantly, her voice is absolutely fantastic – she created such a wonderful atmosphere. Camille also gave some of her time to let my Nephew do a duet with her & then a few solo songs while supporting him as he was feeling nervous. This extra touch was very much appreciated. We are happy we chose Camille and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a talented, professional singer for a special occasion. Thank you for helping make the day so memorable!"

"Ruth performed at our wedding in July, and all I can say is she was incredible! She added such a beautiful atmosphere to our day and all our guests commented on how beautifully she played. Throughout the process Ruth was so helpful and provided an extensive song list for us to select from, and even offered to learn songs for us if she did not have them in her repertoire. She sent me a couple of sound clips when I couldn't decide which song to have for my aisle song. Not only is she an incredible harpist, but she is also very professional and a lovely person. Definitely book Ruth for your wedding, you won't regret it!"

"Compliments are well deserved—Terry and Christine did my dad’s funeral absolute justice. From the very beginning, arranging the date and timing with Terry was effortless, and selecting the music was just as straightforward, with him even taking time out of his day while out shopping to talk through our wishes. The bagpipes were a beautiful and deeply moving addition, bringing everything together so seamlessly right through to the end. Their timing and presence were impeccable, and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. Even the lady who lives in the house at the cemetery was in her kitchen cooking and was brought to tears, saying she hadn’t heard bagpipes in the nine years she’s lived there. You both did an outstanding job, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you for making such a difficult day so beautiful and memorable."

"PHENOMENAL!! Wow Martin you delivered! We booked Martin for our wedding, to play at the church before my arrival on my arrival and during the reception meal. The comments made by each and every guest present were nothing but praise! You really created the atmosphere I envisaged. It was MAGICAL! "I just wanted to write to say an absolutely huge thank you to you and the rest of the band for your absolutely superb performance at my 50th birthday do last weekend . Since then, I have had so many messages saying that was the best party people have ever been to! I honestly can’t thank you all enough for making it so special for us all, you were absolutely bloody fantastic – managed to get even the most reluctant dancers up on the floor and thank you also for playing for so long!! You must have been knackered! You all surpassed my expectations in every way and really made the party one that everyone will remember for a long time …. lots of friends have asked for your details so hope you get some more bookings from it. Thank you so much again, some friends and I are looking forward to coming down the Blue Lagoon on Christmas Eve to see you all play again."

"Highly recommend Martin - great Sax tunes, it was a family event for all ages so we had a good mix plus a few Ibiza classics - great to deal with before and on the day, very patient and helped me get set up for the day - he has a good vibe about him, just seems to enjoy what he does. - overall Martin just came across as a humble guy and genuinely wants to contribute to a party. "

"We were looking for a Cello and Violin player to join us on our latest EP recording and were very fortunate to have Shimmer Strings join us. They were very professional, reliable and friendly. As a dark rock band we needed musicians who could appreciate our style of music and that could recognise, interpret and enhance the atmospheric string elements that we required, which they both did exceptionally. We are all so happy with how the tracks sound, the strings have taken it to another level and captured the emotional content so well. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a committed and hardworking duo and we look forward to working with Rebecca and Julianne again in the near future!"
