"Saturday went really well. The band were great and the client was delighted - both with the sets the band played and the backing for when Laurie sang! The additional half an hour playing was also really appreciated. Also, during the planning stage, the time that was spent re-assuring and working with Laurie ready for her solo was great. From our point of view it was lovely to work with such a nice band, very easy going and flexible when timings and plans changed on site. The music was briliant, the vocalists were amazing too. All in all a resounding success - so thank you very much. Hopefully we’ll be working with you all again soon."

"Thank you both for bringing such a special part of our wedding to life. The live music was integral to our ceremony and Alice and her guitarist elevated the event. They brought in a special magic which extended to the reception afterwards. We really appreciated their professionalism and distinct style, both during our ceremony and afterwards in the celebration. They set the perfect tone for a lively and friendly atmosphere which is exactly what we were hoping for with our wedding. Thank you very much for taking our song choices into consideration and integrating an amazing vibe - you are both very talented musicians!"

"AMAZING! Fantastic band in every way. Great communication from John all the way through from booking to the actual day. Extremely professional band with an amazing team including sound engineer who all made it a terrific event. The music and performance were second to none and every single guest wanted encores. "I booked the 6 piece band and DJ for my fathers 60th, I looked at many bands and struggled for choice. It just so happened a friend of mine had seen The Marvellous Motown Souls at a wedding. This prompted me to book and im so glad we did. Liz was professional from the start and not a detail was missed. On the evening Liz basically coordinated the evening. Making announcements and making the party flow smoothly. Our son and daughter wanted a go on the drums which was no problem and they played the tambourine too, having loads of fun. The DJ (James) was always happy for requests and made sure nothing was missed. We met beforehand and James asked if there is any music we like, we requested older music and then more dance songs to end the evening. We were handed glow sticks and the band finished with their 90s medley, then the DJ took over and carried on with a dance set which was brilliant. This band goes far beyond just playing some music. What a great set of people to have as part of your party. 110% recommended, you will not be disappointed."

"We had The Marvellous Motown Souls at The New Packhorse in Westgate,Bradford on Saturday 9th March,I also booked the band in December,they went down really,really well,in fact i actually booked the night of work myself to come and see these guys for the first time....Firstly it was really nice to meet them face to face,absolutley lovely people,Secondly ,brilliant at getting the crowd involved,Lizy is so energetic and professional,and the rest of the band just gel so well together,Thanks for another great night.......Highly recommended...Thankyou."

"Fantastic 5 piece band covering music from the 60’s to today. Very professional in their communication throughout. We were a little light on numbers for the evening but everybody enjoyed themselves and the band remained focused giving it their all through the show. I would have no hesitation in booking again. Thank you for a great night. "
