"My mum hired 'The Cheers' for my 21st birthday party and they were fabulous. I had guests ranging from ages 10 - 60, and they played music for everyone. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a band to provide upbeat music to dance to. All the band members were very friendly and organised, and they made the party a great success! "

"The Cheers played at our party on Saturday evening with a set between 8.30-9.30 and 10.00-11.00. They were FAB, with many of our guests asking how we had found such a great band. There pre-party arrangements were very easy with us being able to select a play list of our own choosing. We had the 5-piece band which was terrific. I cannot recommend them highly enough."

"A fabulous group of individuals very professional and a joy to listen to whether you have a large audience or like mine quite small, whatever The Skippers can tailor it to your event keeping your guests entertained all evening. "Best band ever! My wedding guests loved them! They were fantastic before the event checking what music I liked and they delivered beyond my expectations! Fabulous musicians with amazing singing voices they performed a mix of songs. If you want a band who has it all and won’t disappoint this is it! Friendly, punctual and reliable. Jimmy got in touch as soon as I booked provided his email and mobile number in case I had questions and nothing was too much trouble! Well worth the money ?"

"Our planned wedding band let us down last minute, got in touch with Rowan with only a week to spare and he got the band together in a short space of time and did an excellent job, no doubt a better choice than the original ceilidh band we chose! My parents especially kept saying how much they loved the music."

"Thank again for playing for us at our wedding - you were absolutely fantastic on the day and were also a pleasure to deal with in the run up to our big day. As I mentioned on the day, we had quite a few musicians amongst our guests who were all very impressed with you. Greg (the Owner) also thought you were fantastic. We had so many comments from people on the day saying how good you were and we thought you helped to create a great atmosphere, plus you were great to Lindy hop to! "These gentlemen had been booked to play at our local Toby and we went along, more out of curiosity than anything. Our normal preference is for full bands with drums, bass, electric guitars etc. so we were sceptical at best. How wrong we were. These fellows managed to convey an energy that belied their diminutive footprint! Performing a diverse selection of instantly recognisable songs. The performance was enhanced by their easy rapport and audience engagement. We had a truly wonderful evening and will be on the look out for more "Ding n John" gigs. Well done gentlemen!"

"Thank you for all your & the bands efforts on Saturday night. The whole band looked & sounded superb & really added to the atmosphere of the whole event. The Jazz music set the initial mood, & the soul & funk songs really got everyone dancing!"
