Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"The band were an absolute resounding success. The guests all commented on how good the band were, especially and the band gauged exactly the right sort of music to suit their audience. They arrived on time, were not at all demanding and were hard-working, shifting heavy and plentiful equipment up to the 1st floor. They were extremely punctual and polite and there was very little microphone chat, just lots of music! We were thrilled and I am sure we will be booking them again in the future, for school events."

"If I could rate the band more than a 10/10, I would. The Revival Band were fantastic; talented, fun and genuinely lovely people. They pulled out all the stops and definitely went the extra mile to make sure the evening was a great success and one to remember. Tom, thank you so much for keeping me grounded! Would recommend and book again in a heartbeat!"

"I booked The Covered for my 40th birthday party. Communication with John was excellent from the start. They arrived when they said they would with everything they needed. They asked to change the location in the room I had selected which turned out to be the best idea & made for a much better atmosphere. The music was brilliant & had us all dancing the night away! I would thoroughly recommend The Covered, thank you John & the gang."

"The band were fantastic - a really talented group that made the evening special. From initial communication, to the tailoring of their set list, set up and departure they were very straightforward to deal with. The band even learnt one of my parent's favourite songs especially for the event, which was much appreciated. We would definitely recommend them."

Our day didn't go to plan, as you probably remember (I didn't expect to be doing my speech to anyone but day guests, let alone the evening guests and the band) but the fact you were so flexible and played for the best part of 2 hours solid, helped make it the fantastic day that it was. "On the business and organising side, I have to say that MIB offer tremendous value for money, backed by the highest levels of professionalism and heaps of clear and concise communication. It was great to run an event where such a key element was not on the worry list. The guys were so up for it and on top of their game that several people asked if it was ‘our usual band’, thinking that we must have worked together before! "
