Review Centre: 1970s & 80s Style Bands

"Just wanted to say how much my family and I LOVED the band on Saturday. Not only were they wonderful musicians they were wonderful people too and they really helped make it such a special night for me, my sisters and my parents. The cover of their first dance wedding song was so beautiful and all the other songs they played really added to the momentum and general atmosphere of the night. They were also so accommodating letting us use the mic for our speech and really interacted well with the guests at the end to get people involved and dancing. We gushed this drunkenly to them all on the night, but please pass on a genuine thanks from me and my family! I also wanted to thank you both for being so ready to answer emails, questions, and even phone calls from me in the lead-up to the party. It's all been so hassle-free thanks to you both! Thanks again for making a memorable event that much more of a success. "

"The Covered were amazing! They played at my daughters 30th birthday and everyone said they made the night. People were up dancing right from the start and one of the guests even sang a couple of songs with the band. They were so accommodating and the playlist was perfect. They really seemed like they enjoyed themselves too which made it even better. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you John and co. "

"Thank you for great music at a 70th birthday party in Lincoln on Saturday. The impressive range of songs you played was perfect and much appreciated by all of us - including some much younger than 70! - as we danced and sang along. "Indigo Charm were absolutely brilliant. The music was spot on, just what we were looking for, and everyone had a great time. Loads of people were telling us how good they were, and I know one or two even asked for your details so we will be sure to pass those on to them! We and everyone there also loved the first dance, so thank you for learning that for us too! I spent a lot of time (and stress!) looking for a band because I was so concerned that everyone should have a good night, but I didn't need to worry. The band were awesome, played exactly the right music throughout the night, and everyone was dancing right until the end of the evening. They even learnt our first dance when we requested it, and we loved it. Everyone commented after on how good they were, and some people even asked for their details. Shamyra was an excellent front-woman, full of energy when she was performing, and very lovely and polite when not on stage. I'd definitely book them again, and recommend them wholeheartedly. "

"Where to even start?! WOW! We’re honestly all still buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! Honestly, it was so, so special for us and you guys were the biggest part of that. I knew you were going to be amazing but you were amazing AND THEN SOME! It’s so lovely to hear that you were all loving life too – that means a lot! I just can’t thank you enough personally for all of your help and advice in the lead up to the party – you’ve been so helpful, accommodating and reassuring the whole time and just been so nice to be in touch with! It’s been such a pleasure! And again on the day you were a complete star and took so much work away from us as we literally didn’t have to worry about you guys – you had it all in hand, even the clearing up – naughty! Haha! Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and the whole band who are all so super talented, and so super fun! They absolutely made our night! I had high expectations and they smashed them! I have to give a shout out to our singers, I mean how incredible were they?! So much charisma and sass- I think I’m actually obsessed with them haha! Not forgetting the Swing Singer and Quartet you also provided. Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us and our guests – you knocked all of our socks off! "I just wanted to thank you so so much for 13th August. You, the jazz trio and the band were just outstanding! I had so, so many compliments from our guests about how fantastic you were, and it’s a testament to you that the dancefloor was packed while the band was playing. Despite slight logistical challenges, it all just went so well. I also loved hearing the excerpt from Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto after we were married - it was really really special. You were all just amazing, phenomenal, fantastic and you contributed to a brilliant date. Thank you!!"
