"Girl Gone Rogue earned their right to be part of our festival this year by beating other entrants in our talent competition. They blew the audience away with their talent, energy and personality. Their selection of music is brilliant, and play lists are of music that all parties know and will enjoy. We will be asking them to return this year and for next years event. You will not be disappointed. "

"We booked The Pharaoh's for a Covers Night last month and they were brilliant. Really strong vocals. They played a great range of music from 70s disco classics and soul right through to Amy Winehouse and the Killers! Everyone was up on the floor dancing and people are still saying to me now what a good night it was. Would definitely book them again in the future. Thanks guys!"

"Please thank the band for making the evening amazing, being professional and well organized. The full band including the brass created a full complete sound which many of my guests commented on. The dance floor was filled! I have spent the last week receiving compliments saying how good the band was and how did I find you! In particular, the Florence songs were fantastic."

"We’re absolutely chuffed that we booked soul in the belfry for our wedding. The song choices were perfect and they did a beautiful rendition of a bob marley song for our first dance. All of our guests commented on how talented they are and how they brought a fantastic end to the evening!"

"Your repertoire of music was exactly as we requested. To please such a wide age range from 10 year old to 80 year old is some achievement. "I hired the Urban Myth for my 50th birthday bash November 2022. They were very professional indeed, they were on site, set up and out of the way before my guests arrived. From the moment they started playing they had my friends and family on the dance floor. However, the biggest surprise was that my partner told them that I was a huge Gary Newman fan and despite them being an RnB band, they learnt a Gary Numan song just for me and even let me sing it with the band, what a fantastic gesture, that really made my night!! The days that followed I was asked multiple times who the band was, and I was more than happy to pass on their details. I wouldn’t think twice about booking these guys again for any future celebration. If you are thinking of booking them, just do it, you won’t be disappointed."

All of us at the 2013 Babbacombe Festival Marquee were delighted to have you play at our incredible retro funk night on the Saturday and again at the Hanbury's Music Day on the Sunday.
