"We haven't really had the time to relax yet, and proper thank you’s are on their way! However, it was really important to us to write a quick thank you to you both for the simply perfect performance you did for us on our wedding day in Domfront, France ! Church, lake and party! We really couldnt have imagined it being more perfect!!! And we have you guys to thank for a lot of that. We really appreciated the “little touches” like in the songs in the Church and our personal song at the lake! And above all! You got everyone on the dance floor from the moment you started and I cannot tell you how many people have said that it was the best party and best live band they have ever been to at a wedding. (we will be finding a way to write this in a review for you guys). Barrie, you have been a massive help! and made the whole experience not only possible, but enjoyable. It was a real pleasure to meet you guys and I will certainly be recommending you guys to people in the future. I hope you managed to get back ok the next day and that you also managed to have a good time yourself after your set was done, But we really appreciated you staying late, as the meal massively over run! And thank you for accomodating my Dad, as this meant a lot to me. Ok , well! Back to reality. (Trine says hi and a massive thank you personally) Really hope we might see you guys at a gig in the future! All the best and thank you again to you both."

" What a superb band! It's was a huge privilege to have you play at our wedding, the guests loved it and there wasn't a moment that the dance floor was ever empty!! When booking the Ashdowne, we were initially drawn to the initial repertoire of indie and rock songs the band had on offer and not to mention the talent of both the guitarists, drummer and singers. The band played acoustic and full band sets which didn't disappoint. A truly talented band, who would not look out of place at a major music festival!! Professional through and through and accommodating to all our needs leading up to and during our special day. Thank you every so much for making it such a wonderful day!! "Just wanted to say thanks very much for sat night at Cardiff county hall. Everybody enjoyed the night and Im sure you noticed my best mate Allan did too! Thanks so much for learning Oleta Adams - get here I was so chuffed with it you played it really well and the singer was brilliant. All my guests were asking if you were local, when I told them no, they were amazed that you came from Bristol only for a few hours, and I am glad you did. Next time I organise a party you will be my first point of contact. Thanks so much tony and please pass on my thanks to the rest of the band."

"House of chords performed at our wedding last month, they were amazing and we would recommend them to anyone looking for a band for their event!!!! It is quite daunting picking a wedding band just from reviews and snippets of their music from websites etc and with so many bands out there to choose from. We really liked the set list on their website as in addition to the usual songs that we kept seeing on wedding band websites they had more variety spanning several decades with more of an indie and soul vibe – perfect! We learnt that house of chords had played at our venue before (Pendrell Hall) and so we seeked the venues opinion – after a glowing review we went ahead and booked them about a year before our wedding. In the lead up the the big day Mike called us and we had a nice long chat as to what music we liked and set out a plan for the wedding evening. Mike really put us at ease during this phone call, and gave us faith that we had made an excellent choice in our band for the wedding. The band sorted out with the venue directly all the boring stuff like pat certificates etc. They had no problems setting up and were flexible with timings when our speeches ran over. Brilliant music and played a load of our requests from their live repertoire list and also for the dj music in between and after their sets. They got everyone dancing and played a good range of music to suit different ages! It was a great end to a perfect day – was able to relax & dance the night away! Would not hesitate in recommending them and wish them all the best for the future!"

"The lost were absolutely fantastic!! They played at our wedding this Septembe and they had everyone up on the dance floor. Guests came up to us and told us how much they enjoyed the band and that they would love to go to see them again! Adam was great from the very beggining. His communication and attention to detail was fantastic. I can't recommend this band enough. Thank you so much for making our wedding so special. Alex & Ben"

"A huge thank you for everything you did for us for our wedding day. The organisation in the lead up to our event was so good. The entertainment was amazing! "We booked Soul Delight for our wedding in Leatherhead through Alive Network, The only way we could see them in action was through the website. While they were great on these videos, we were still a little nervous about how they would shape up live. We needn't have been! The band were absolutely fantastic. "

"These guys are really tight and well rehearsed as a band. Individually they all put in great performances too. As you can tell we were really pleased we chose them. We had lots of comments from our guests asking where we found the band and had sore feet from dancing at the end of the night. If you like soul and soulful music, this is the band you want."
