Review Centre: Wedding Bands

"Working with Lara and the girls in Hope String Quartet has been an absolute pleasure. Having contacted LIPA to enquire about availability of students, Lara from Hope String Quartet, was very prompt in responding with video footage and a bio. The Telegraph Cruise & Travel Show was a two day event at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool from 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10-4pm on Sunday. As the only string quartet at the event, it was quite demanding on the girls to play across both days with 1-1.5hrs sessions on a tight schedule. Their performances were fantastic and provided our visitors with a relaxing and intimate atmosphere within our Cream Tea Experience. We have received many lovely comments from our visitors since the show, and I would highly recommend Hope String Quartet for any event that requires a classy and sophisticated musical accompaniment. "

"The Swing Zippers were the perfect band for our wedding drinks reception. Their mix of gypsy jazz and pop classics set the right mood for our outdoor event - it entertained people and complemented socialising rather than distracting from it. They're also a friendly, professional duo that are easy to deal with. Ten out of ten :) "

"Well, it's taken a while to come down from the high of the Village Harvest Party. Even now, a month after the great gig you played for us, I'm still being asked how I knew about you and where you were from. I'd had in mind for years, to have you play for my 60th in the Village square. The set was every bit as good as when first I saw you play Fulford many years back. We've been supporting bands since the mid 90's, but I have to say, no act has been better! Now evey one is asking if you'll be back to do it again! A massive heartfelt thank to you all."

"The band were superb - especially given the massive delay before you were able to perform, and the fact that we forgot to bring the interval playlist(s)! "We’ve been so lucky to have Sally's Allstars tonight, they have made our wedding evening! All our guests have so enjoyed the variety of music. I can’t believe how many people got up and danced, even the men!! It’s been absolutely amazing and Megan has been so wonderful in the build up to organising our evening. "We went to watch John and Cath perform at The Botanist as we were looking for someone to perform at our wedding. We loved what we saw and heard, and knew they were just what we were looking for! Communication was great, and everything was easy to arrange, and they were happy to accomodate in their set any requests I had. They did two 45 minute sets at our evening reception, and they were fantastic! The song choices were perfect and had the dancefloor full. It was wonderful to see and we had so many compliments. John and Cath were full of enthusiasm and they helped to create a great antmospehere with their music. I got to dance with my Dad to "I Saw Her Standing There" by The Beatles and that meant everything to me. Really wish I had an excuse to book them for another event!"
