"To say you guys were great would be a major understatement. We knew from your repertoire and online reel that you guys were going to be good, but you blew everyone away. Your vocals and musicianship were just outstanding and all of our guests had a total blast. Not surprisingly, several people told me "this is the best wedding band I've ever seen." We agree and were particularly impressed with your ability to fuse new music with funk and disco classics to make truly excellent sets. And you played our wedding song perfectly. Best moment of my life. We really cannot thank you guys enough for making the trip to Italy to celebrate with us. If Alex and I are ever in Newcastle drinks are on us!! :) Please send our sincere thanks to everyone in the band. What a night! "Fi has, rightly, a greatly praised voice, and this worked a treat in that environment. She possesses excellent technique & frequently went for complex lines and pulled them all off with aplomb. She has equally good dynamic sensibilities and used shifts of these with discretion for extra effect. Alex's playing mirrored this: skilled yet tasteful with generally chorded accompaniment when Fi was singing and when it came to his solos, the runs, though often improvised, served the song, not his ego. They have an empathetic understanding I think: not just in the interplay between voice & piano but also in their several duets & this was another element in the playfulness"

"We booked Flynn and tonics for our wedding band and we could not recommend more! David was so organised yet laid back in the lead up to the wedding. He really listened to what we wanted and brought our vision to life! We booked the acoustic duo for our drinks reception and the dj and sax set for after the band sets. They were absolutely outstanding. If you’re looking for a wedding band who have it all then book the Flynn and tonics!"

"I think judging by all the messages and the photographs, everybody had such a fabulous time. Everything about the music was just perfect, a great mix of songs and yourself and the band fitted in with all our wishes, everything was timed so well.
