Review Centre: Pop Bands

"The Shakesters played at The Departure Lounge cafe for the cafes’ 10th anniversary and it couldn’t have been a better choice of bands. The weather was not on our side but the band managed to get everyone dancing and keep the atmosphere lively and fun. They have a unique style which fits the cafe perfectly. We’ll definitely be keeping the band in our minds for any future events."

"We had a fabulous evening being entertained by Gypsy Cabaret Collective, a group which my gorgeous cousin is part of. Fraser showed his comedic side and Piper showed a bit of love for the poi. Piper also loved taking part in the proceedings. The boys listened to their CD all the way home and even asked for it to be turned up and asked when can we see them again."

"We were lucky enough to have Radio Dukes play at our wedding reception. We had the 5 piece band, and can confidently and overwhelmingly recommend them! They were fantastic. The whole party was straight up and dancing, and their mix of funk, rock, and indie music worked really well - with lots of songs we could all sing along to. They responded quickly to messages and were flexible with our timings too."

"We booked Steve Evans in for some live music at our restaurant, and he delivered, a throughly enjoyable evening with lots of great variety of songs. It left customers wanting dancing and wanting more with one saying she wished it would never end. Amazing night !!! Big thank you to Steve "

"Go-Ahead PLC Christmas Party (December 2022). We rebooked Kirsty for our work Christmas Party after how popular she was at our Summer Party – and we are so glad we did. Kirsty did a fantastic job yet again, starting with some slow songs as people mingled at the beginning of the night and ramping it up when people were ready to dance. She organised us to do a dance as a group and it was so much fun – really bringing people into the party mood. As always Kirsty was super approachable, great to communicate with and helpful throughout the event. Thanks so much for another fantastic event Kirsty – seems we have ourselves a DJ for all future events! "

"Was not expecting what we got!! We got 100% more than any other band we have ever witnessed. These guys are one of THE best we have ever heard and the crowd interaction with the dance off was incredible and everyone was talking about this for days after. "The Confidential were recommended to us for our wedding and we will be doing the same! We opted for the Jazz duo followed by the four piece band and DJ and couldn't be happier with how the whole night went! The Confidential were discreet to set up/shut down and the transition between band and DJ was so smooth. The Confidential had everyone up on the dance floor within minutes of playing and we remained there all night! It was a brilliant atmosphere and we can't thank them enough."

"Good Afternoon, I just want to take the time to Thank You as Ian has just left and he was just wonderful! We have quite a few pupils with complex needs yet they were able to sequence the notes and copy Ian on the drum! They were all engaged and absolutely loved the music, dancing and waving ribbons. It was also so interesting listening to his question and answer time, he is so knowledgeble and linked so well to our Topic on the Windrush. "Massive Thank you to Delta Band, they were fab and really made our wedding reception what we had hoped for. They played a great range of music from all the eras which meant all our wedding guests were catered for. There was a great atmosphere on the dance floor all night. Even the restaurant attached to our venue commented on how good the entertainment was, guests had been asking to be sat on the terrace so they could hear the music whilst they ate. I would highly recommend Delta, they created a great party atmosphere and kept our guests entertained for the whole duration. ""

"You guys were absolutely AMAZING!!! We could not have asked for a better evening; everyone had so much fun and did not want to stop dancing (in fact, the only complaint we had the next day was how much peoples' feet were hurting from all the dancing they had done)! We have heard nothing but praise about how good you were, and our guest have told us it was 'the best playlist I have ever heard', and we totally agree, so thank you!!! We will be highly recommending you to anyone and everyone we know, so hopefully we will see you again soon! Thank you again for making our evening reception perfect"
