"We used Francesca and a keyboardist for our drinks reception at our wedding. The music was beautiful (especially Francesca's voice) and set a really nice relaxed vibe with our guests without being overpowering. We would really recommend!"

"I would 100% recommend Blue Jewel Ceilidh Band to anyone! It was the highlight of our wedding reception and got everyone involved no matter what age. The caller was clear and friendly and the music was brilliant. There was a mix of interesting and entertaining dances and we could have had them for another few hours and still been dancing! Thanks for a very memorable evening. "

Although I only got to hear a few pieces myself, the ones I heard were wonderful & many of our guests commented on how good the music you played was. We requested you play Nightswimming by REM, a piece not previously in your repertoire. The version you played was exactly what we wanted, so thank you. I would definitely recommend you to anyone looking for a string quartet for a future event."

"Candy Sunday were fabulous. Everyone enjoyed their set. They got everyone onto the dance floor. We are so glad we booked them. Definitely worth the money. We’ve never booked a band before or been to a wedding with a band so didn't know whether to do so or not. We would certainly re-book or recommend them! We had a fabulous day and the band certainly helped to make our evening very memorable. They were excellent. Thank you!! "

"The Last Cavaliers performed at our wedding this Summer and they were absolutely brilliant! Everyone, from my friends in their 20's to my grandparents friends in their 70's, mentioned how much they enjoyed the live music and dancing the night away. We opted for the 6 piece band with brass section and loved it! The brass section really added to the party atmosphere and if you're thinking of booking The Last Cavaliers you MUST book 'with brass' - definitely worth it! The Last Cavaliers were recommended to us by another well known northern function band, that we'd seen before, and we were thrilled to discover that these guys are actually better! 
One thing that we particularly appreciated was that the band took the time to learn our first dance, which was a compilation of 2 songs, and they did a fantastic job. 

Hopefully we won't personally need these guys for another wedding (ahaha) but we can't recommend them enough. You are awesome!"

"I absolutely loved this pair. I recently planned a wedding in Duns, Scotland and Sally & Graham drove over an hour to play about 3 hours at my event. Everything went completely perfectly, from our communication beforehand, the song list, them adding songs I requested, the location and sound quality for their sets, and setup/tear down. I wanted a relaxed, acoustic sound with talented musicians definitely not a DJ party wedding band, so this duo was perfect for that. This website and this band are excellent value for the range and, again, quality of the music, 100% worth the price and more. Before the event, I gave them some some requests including Africa by Toto, which they REWROTE and learned in their own style (HUGE HIT and really surprised my husband). Also we coordinated a place for them to setup, the times of the sets, and what meals they wanted to have, and everything went off without a hitch. They were also so very sweet and wonderful people that they really impressed all my guests who were complimentary and wondering where I found such an amazing band. One of the best things about the Scotswood Acoustic Duo is how their song list covers a huge variety of music that they somehow play all equally wonderfully. So everyone's music tastes were satisfied and it made for very interesting listening, this was one of the compliments I heard alot. There are just so many nice things to say, please book this band and get them doing music full time because they are AMAZING!"

We were flooded with compliments about the night and in particular the entertainment - absolutely brilliant! Apart from that you were one the nicest group of people we have ever worked with - you were all a pleasure and talented too! if there were more like you in corporate entertainment my job over the years would have been so much easier!
