Review Centre: Party Bands

"Fire & Rain played at my 60th birthday party on board the Edwardian river steamer the Windsor Belle on the River Thames. They were brilliant. They played a selection of mellow and more upbeat songs across the decades. The music was not intrusive but more than just background which is what we wanted. They were very easy to deal with both in the pre-event organisation and on the day. I would certainly recommend them to play at your event."

"We hired the Honky Tonk Hardies for our wedding and we really could have asked for a better band or performance. The band were all top guys and it was a pleasure having them at our wedding. Every single person commented on how much they enjoyed the band young to old which was great. Me and my wife are big music heads and have seen countless bands live but these guys really knew how to play and put on a good show. Very impressed would pay to see them playing live again absolutely top notch! Wooooooo!!!"

"A rather large portion of our guest list was made up of professional musicians and West End musical theatre performers. So, trying to find a band that could make an impression on such a crowd was always going to be a challenge. After trawling through endless sound clips on the internet, we had not found a band that even came close. Then one click later, the voice of Cherie Gears somehow managed to fill the room, even through the tiny speakers of our laptop. The next day, we had our band booked. And what a band! This is a band that's so good they had the dance floor full on their sound check! Turns out we had nothing to worry about, every one of our guests loved the music and they were not shy in telling us so. You guys really did over deliver and we couldn't recommend you highly enough. Cannot wait for the opportunity to book you guys again!"

On the night, the band brought incredible energy, played an amazing variety of songs, and kept our family and friends on the dance floor all evening! Everyone absolutely loved them. "We had the most amazing experience with Mitch at our wedding! From the first meeting, Mitch was professional, attentive, and genuinely excited to make our day special. The music selection was perfect and catered to every age group at our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night, and so many of our guests commented on how fantastic the music was. Mitch also went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious, keeping everyone engaged and having a great time. "A big thank you for making our party so much fun and that you def met our expectations we have had so many of our friends comment on how they enjoyed our party and that the atmosphere was fantastic. You have a fab name - you really got us boogie-ing!! It takes a lot to get Bri dancing so you did great with your choice of music it got everyone on the dance floor - even the little one! I loved that you had the blow up guitars they went down a treat with the younger ones...thanks again Mel for a great party my feet had blisters on them for days after!! "From the first contact, Jake filled us with confidence that it was going to be a great event. His communications prior to the night were professional and allowed us to personalise the type of evening we wanted to create. The band arrived promptly and set up with a playlist in the background suiting our preferred genre. They were helpful in changing the timings on the night to accommodate the mood of the party. The music itself was fantastic; they're a talented bunch of musicians! And they have the ability to modify the playlist, depending on their audience. Lots of our guests commented on how good the band were. All in all, value for money. And we have total confidence in recommending them. A huge 'thank you' to Jake and all the band members for helping to make our wedding party a night to remember."

"Had these guys play at our wedding last week. Best choice we ever made!! We had to change the date with them 4 times amd it was never a problem. Communication from the start was first class! We asked for our first dance to be played live and although it wasn't in their repertoire they learnt it for us and we were blown away with the result! Already looking at booking them for a follow up party when restrictions are lifted! If you are reading this book them now! I promise you wont regret it! "
