Review Centre: Bagpipers

"George came to play at my Wee Scottish Granny's funeral, it was so, so much more than we could have ever imagined it to have been. Gran was the centre of our world and we wanted her funeral to be everything that she deserved, it was just that and more! George was beyond incredible, he piped the hearse up to the crematorium and then piped her into the crematorium, he then stood at the front whilst we all walked in, performed half way through and at the end of the service. Her elderly brother who couldn't make the funeral was able to watch online and said he had never seen anything like it. He turned a really sad occasion into a really beautiful one instead. He was so professional, lovely and graceful. I just couldn't recommend him more. Thankyou so much George!"

"We approached Brad a month before our wedding & asked if he could play for us. Brad agreed and we gave him a number of songs we wanted to play on our day for our guests arriving & for the Bride & Groom nothing was a problem and he played them all outstanding! Brad was well dressed for the occasion we would highly recommend him for your special day. The amount of people at our wedding who commented on him was great. A memory to cherish forever."

"We'd give Jason 10 stars if we could. He was the piper at our Elopement on Loch Maree. Throughout the process we knew Jason was the one. He has excellent communication skills, answered all of our questions, was very flexible and we just knew he was a great guy and an excellent piper. On the day he was great craic, very professional and even thought is a thing or two about bagpipes! Thank you for everything Jason and also being our witness!"

"Jeremy played at our wedding during the ceremony. I don't quite know how to put into words how special he made it. It was beyond every expectation and just simply blew our guests (and us!) away! He was professional from start to finish and was able to work at a DIY wedding and was able to 'ad-hoc' with ease when there were slight delays or parts of the ceremony took longer than expected. If you book Jeremy for your wedding, you will not be disappointed with the sublime singing, professionalism and performance. But, on top of that, he is such a nice, friendly and open person who anyone would want to have at their wedding!"

"Millie performed at a ceremonial event we hosted to reflect on the life of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and to mark the accession of His Majesty King Charles III. The event took place at Lloyd's of London to an audience of just under 5,000 people and livestreamed globally. She was an absolute joy to work with; coming up with the pieces to perform which were so fitting for the occasion. She totally understood the brief and her performance of both pieces were not only incredibly moving to everyone, but also the highlight of the event. I can't recommend her enough or thank her enough for being such a special part of our event. It's a day we shall never forget."

"Well what can I say. I first heard John play for the first time at the Burns night in the Royal College of music and drama in Cardiff. I took my father a proud scotsman and this was my fathers last burns supper before his passing. My father and I enjoyed the evening so much that I asked John for his contact details as my fathers health at that point was on a downward trajectory. On his passing John agreed to play the pipes at my fathers funeral on 16th March 2020. All I can say is thank you John for giving my father the send off he wanted. I would wholeheartedly recommend John after all the Royal college Music and Drama uphold the highest standards and the burns evening was no exception from the recital of Robbie Burns to the singing which was sublime to the pipes which gave a magical feel to the evening. What a talent and genuine person who plays for the love of music and the joy it gives to others?? Oh and thanks for the happy birthday pipes on BBC 13th April. Highly recommend"

"It felt so fitting to have a majestic piper for my wonderful dad’s final farewell. My Dad loved the majestic sound of the bagpipes, so finding the right person was incredibly important to me. I needed someone who was not only professional, talented and kind, but who also understood that this would be an incredibly difficult and emotional day for our family. You marched proudly in front of the hearse in the pouring rain, playing so beautifully. Whilst our hearts were (and still are) completely broken, your music brought such honour and meaning to my Dad’s final journey. Thank you for very kindly staying and standing with our family, even waiting until the service had completely finished. I wholeheartedly recommend Andrew for any occasion.
