Review Centre: Rock Bands

"Larry and the Hot Crossed Buns are quite literally my favourite band I've ever seen perform, and that's a statement! I've seen acts from probably every music genre and nothing hits like they do! Not only is the music fantastic but the performance and entertainment is top tier! You can't help but jig along to everything they play and their crowd engagement is awesome. Each member of the band are also really lovely to chat to if you manage to catch them after a gig! My only gripe is that they're not close enough to me to see them perform enough, although I did grab a band tee and often rep them on the school runs. Honestly though, if you're around and these guys are playing - go and see them, you can thank me later xo (even if you're not close by, they're genuinely worth travelling for). Lovely band and boys!"

"Saw The Explosive Party Band at The Tap last night. Great covers band, had everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves! Great vocals and musicianship. Performed an excellent 2.5 hour set. Perfect for functions and pubs"

"LA Mixtrax - thank you so much for your professional and flexible approach to HM23, from the pre-event planning to arriving to set up on the day at 8am(!) and then delivering on everything you had promised. You went the extra mile for our runners in extending your playing time to accommodate the significantly larger number of runners we had this year. We loved your main stage performance, which had such an infectious energy and the quality of your musicianship was self-evident, and played a lovely part in making this event a very successful and memorable one!"

"We did a LOT of research around which band to have at our wedding party because we really wanted to have a good time with our guests. Fresh Grooves really delivered and, to be honest, surpassed our expectations. They were just amazing all night. I wish the party could've just gone on and on!"

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day. "

"We had the pleasure of seeing 21c a while ago, and as soon as we booked our wedding, we knew we had to have you! From the first point of contact, until the very last moment of our wedding reception, you were all so supportive, helpful and professional. Your sound and timing was perfect and the dance floor was packed all night, with all our friends and family absolutely loving the music. I can't tell you how many people complimented you all, the song choices, the timing, the depth of sound. We had the most amazing evening thanks to you all, and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a top class band for any event. We also booked your DJ to play in breaks and before and after the band's sets, and he was faultless, ending our night with people dancing until the speakers went silent. My only insistence for our wedding plans, had been to have a live band, specifically 21c, and you helped us achieve the wedding day we longed for. I can't thank you all enough. We wish you every success and prosperity!"

"We hired Dawnbreakers for our Wedding Party and from the first phone call with Jake we knew we were in safe hands. The guys were very professional throughout while still carrying the vibe we were expecting based on their profile. Communication all the way through was excellent, working around our schedule, and going into detail on our music tastes and what we would like from the night. On the evening the band were prompt, setting up efficiently and letting myself and my wife be stress-free!. Performance was brilliant, high energy and thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. Thanks again for making our night so great. "

"The band absolutely blew us away. They performed at our wedding and they were absolutely incredible! We had so many compliments from both guests and other suppliers about them. Their set list is so varied and there was something for everyone. The dance floor was full and no one wanted them to stop. We are so pleased we found them as I don't think our wedding reception would have been the same without them. They were also such lovely people and so helpful in the lead up to the wedding. Absolutely outstanding and would recommend to everyone!"

"Henry was a pleasure to deal with throughout, and the band were great all evening. They took into consideration our music tastes when making the setlist and learnt some new songs that we had requested. All the guests commented on how good they were and the dance floor was full all evening. We cannot recommend them highly enough."
