"We have known Alfie for at least ten years. He has performed for us with his “Hot Hats“ band every New Years Eve for the past 10 years. His repertoire of songs and his professionalism has each year been complimented by our hotel guests, who have been staying to see in the New Year. He is also great at getting the guests involved and dancing! We have no issues with recommending him. Not only is his music really good, he is a nice guy too."

"WOW! We are all still buzzing over our wedding day and I can't thank you both for blowing the roof off (A hard thing to do outdoors!!). Myself and Elaine really had the wedding of our dreams and your music and energy was simply beautiful. We really will be forever grateful to you both for making it so memorable. All the talent, warmth, and little personal touches you both brought to the day were very much appreciated; my Mum and the kids were delighted to be part of the band for one day only."

"We went to watch John and Cath perform at The Botanist as we were looking for someone to perform at our wedding. We loved what we saw and heard, and knew they were just what we were looking for! Communication was great, and everything was easy to arrange, and they were happy to accomodate in their set any requests I had. They did two 45 minute sets at our evening reception, and they were fantastic! The song choices were perfect and had the dancefloor full. It was wonderful to see and we had so many compliments. John and Cath were full of enthusiasm and they helped to create a great antmospehere with their music. I got to dance with my Dad to "I Saw Her Standing There" by The Beatles and that meant everything to me. Really wish I had an excuse to book them for another event!"

"We had The Cheers play at our wedding in April and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. The band were great fun, very talented and got everyone dancing all night. They listened carefully to our song preferences and created a setlist that was perfect for our wedding style. In addition, they played our first song live which made our first dance extra special. They were professional, helpful and friendly, both in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. The communication was clear throughout and they even arrived slightly earlier so that they weren't setting up during the wedding breakfast. We had been slightly unsure about whether to hire a band as the cost is much higher than a DJ, but we have absolutely no regrets at all, and we would most definitely recommend The Cheers to others."

"Garage Nation are the one stop shop to a great party. Within minutes of being on stage, the whole room was on their feet dancing. They brought a cool, modern twist to the classic party vibe and their professionalism was so evident throughout the whole evening. The set list was incredibly varied and ended with a massive garage bang - every single song had the crowd rejoicing! It was truly the best night of our lives! "

"Just about recovered from the night now! Yes all went well, the feedback we have received has been fantastic from the guests that came along and from the staff who worked it too. A specific highlight was Paul who we have been requested to bring back another time, apparently many people were keen to book him for private functions too. Many thanks for all your help and support with the event, I look forward to working with you again."

"The music was absolutely spot on, so many bangers and H&R nailed the vibe 🙌🏻 we had an absolute blast on the dance floor and everyone said how brilliant the music was. Huw also DJ'd later in the evening, bringing along a great lighting set and kindly staying later (everyone was loving it and dancing) which we really, really appreciated. We weren't sure about a first dance and Huw read the room so well. Just 10/10 all round!"

"We were so impressed with Soul Messengers, from the initial pre-meet we had and discussions over their repertoire to the absolutely fantastic performance they put on on the night, it was honestly everything we were looking for in a band to entertain guests at our wedding. They even lent us their microphone for our speeches which was so sweet. Soul Messengers know how to work a crowd, put a lot of thought into their set list and were super flexible when people had requests etc. We couldn't recommend them enough!"
