"Having played in a band for many years myself, I was incredibly fussy when it came to booking a band for our wedding. I am so glad that I went with House of Chords! Before the big day, the band allocated time to chat about the little details of the day with us. Everything from what we wanted them to wear to which songs we would and wouldn’t like them to play. Their performance at the wedding was incredible. Everyone was on the dance floor absolutely loving them! I cannot thank these guys enough for the superb performance and their utter professionalism from the moment of booking. You made our wedding even more perfect."

"To Southwest: thank you for adding the extra zing to 'our do' at the castle on 29th July. From 3pm to the witching hour you provided the perfect music...wicked tunes...ace voices and a whole bunch of personality. You guys made our celebration rock...just wish we could have booked you until 3am... If we ever need a band again, Southwest would be our first port of call"

"We would like to say a massive thank you to you, your band and the DJ. who did a great job...it was fantastic.... you kept everyone dancing even though it was a beautifull night....and seemed to play a big hit... " Somerset Soul and Rebecca performed at our wedding in December 2021 and they were absolutely fantastic. Rebecca is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, their manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."

"I just wanted to pass on a massive thank you to you and the rest of the band for a truly awesome performance at our wedding in December. The evening was everything we hoped it would be and that is largely down to the fabulous atmosphere created by yourselves which got most people (nearly 100 at one point!!) up, dancing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. All of our guests have commented on what a great night it was and how good the band were and Rob and I certainly had a fantastic evening.Also thanks to the DJ/sound man for putting up with lots of drunken requests from the bridesmaids, much appreciated!We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone having a wedding or other form of party as a great fun party band.
