"Dear Anne, I thought the orchestra was great, especially the strings. Overall they sounded great and there have been many many positive comments!  It is is a really complex work and there were some wonderful moments. Your violin solo was wonderful and during that whole section the orchestra really captured the mood.  The Prelude was everything that I wanted it to be and the big moments were absolutely thrilling.  The orchestra was great to work with and sounded great. The sonority of Elgar's full orchestration was self-evident. The best range of dynamics I have experienced from them - ever! It is so good to welcome a lot of the same players back over and over again.  Please thank the players for me! "

"I just wanted to say such a huge thank you for the amazing performance that you gave. You were so friendly and willing to help in any way that any nervousness about getting up to dance was immediately dismissed. I was extremely apprehensive prior to the night about how the dancing would go down, especially with my two left feet! However my worrying was in vain, what a fantastic night of dancing it was, so inclusive that any and all can get up and get involved, aged 5 or 105. You need no experience or talent, just listen to the brilliant calling, it’s all simple moves but when it comes together with all your friends and family on the night, prepare to be amazed. I can not thank the band enough for making our Wedding such a fantastic night, I have never seen so many people thoroughly enjoying themselves all at once. I can sincerely recommend the Black Velvet Band for any social occasion, your expectations will be exceeded."

"My wife and I got married at the beginning of August and Fresh Duo played at the ceremony and pre breakfast drinks. All I can say is that they played amazingly made the entrance of the Bride more spectacular than we could have ever imagined. They then made the drinks reception very chilled and formal at the same time. I think without their musical accompaniments it would have not been the same special day. Very friendly couple. "We wanted to have a special night at the club for our Golf Professional sponsored Jubilee day & Back2Skool did not disappoint. It was the best dinner dance we have had at the club since I can remember & the band had everyone off their seats & dancing. The big band sound was just right & the repertoire of classic songs really hit the mark."

"Kirsty was absolutely amazing through the whole process from the initial call to talk through the wedding and the kinds of music my wife and I love; through to the day itself where she absolutely smashed it. Kirsty made the day feel so special for us, and the music was absolutely perfect down to the closing tracks to keep everyone dancing until the end! I couldn't recommend Kirsty more highly!"
