"It's No' Reel were brilliant from start to finish. Very efficient with replying to emails etc in the lead up to the wedding which always re-assured me that they had everything under control. The music on the day was a great mixture of traditional ceilidh tunes with a modern twist. The numbers were very clearly called out by Tom and encouraged folk to get up and join in. The band were also really accommodating with us interrupting them to do some of our own music and weren't stressed by our running lateness! All in all a very professional band and we would recommend them to anyone!"

"I kid you not – Kitty Galactic are outstanding. All of our guests at my wife’s 40th private party commented on their excellent performance and fantastic range of songs that they delivered to perfection. The dance floor was packed all night and the band engaged with everyone from our 8 year olds to those well let’s say a little older. We were so impressed that we are now already looking for another excuse to book them! Thank you so much for a great night Alan and Layla. "

"We used Radio Dukes as our wedding band, and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. EVERYONE commented on how amazing they were, friends have asked for their contact details to book them at their own events. They had everyone up on the dance floor all night, and there songs were so original. Loved them!!!!"

"Bessie’s life in blues brought back to life. Some performers deserve to be known by more than their work. Bessie Smith won fame as Empress of the Blues in the 1020’s, but there was more to her life than money and fame. She died in 1937, but 80 years on a good sized crowd were held rapt at the Thunderbolt as Dave Merrick narrated her life story, from a ragged upbringing in the American South, with the help of original recordings. Bessie shot to fame because her unique vocal style could cut through the limitations of 1920s recording technology. But it was the live performances the Totterdown audience were waiting for, and Natalie Davis on vocals, with Dave on guitar and Brenan Whitmore on saxophone did not disappoint. Renditions of I Need A Little Sugar in my Bowl, and ‘Taint Nobodies Business If I Do made the magic of Bessie shine, from the slow paced blues of the 1920s to the syncopated swing of the 1930. . the show had the audience rapt. - Paul Breeden, South Bristol Voice (May 01, 2017)"

"Dave, you was everything we wished for and more. You were absolutely amazing throughout the day and the band were phenomenal. You made our day absolutely perfect. You made me tear up walking down the aisle playing Elvis. All our friends have said they have never heard such amazing sax and band. Our first dance was immense. We can’t thank you all enough. There are no words and we are still in the bubble."

"Lion Strings plays beautifully and created a wonderful atmosphere at our wedding, she came in, got on with setting up and made little fuss which was perfect with everything else going on on a wedding day. I have had magnificent feedback from wedding guests who saw her as a highlight of the day. Simply a wonderful woman and musician who people should not hesitate to have st their special days. "

"Anna sung out our engagement brunch and was amazing. From the minute we contacted Anna we knew that this was one thing we didn't need to worry about. She couldn't do enough for us leading up to the day and the day itself. Everyone commented on how amazing she was to listen too. I would highly recommend Anna and will be using her again. "

"South West Band played our wedding of 100 people and they were amazing. Dancefloor never emptied out and everyone was so impressed. The band worked with us to pick a setlist that worked for our occasion and I wouldn't hesitate to book them again for any event I could justify! Five stars not enough."
