"I run a small craft beer festival south of London and I've booked these girls for three years running. The festival attendees always say great things about the music while they are playing and they are very professional. They bring the party atmosphere I require for my event, I highly recommend them. "

"Stretto Ensembles were amazing on our wedding day. Prior to the wedding day, they were always quick to reply to any queries we had and had an extensive repertoire of music for us to choose from. On the day itself, they arrived early and judged the ambiance perfectly for the music for the guests' arrival. For the ceremony, they played absolutely beautifully and made the bride's entrance special and memorable. They also set a perfect ambiance for the drinks reception after our ceremony. Punctual, open, and professional, thank you so much for making our wedding day so special."

"Dahlia were brilliant at our garden party and it was thrilling to hear so many favourite tunes played live. A real star turn. Everyone said how much they enjoyed it. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who had one ear on the conversation I was in and another ear on the music, floating away on it. I look forward to the next event in order to book again!"

We really appreciate how flexible you've been throughout the pandemic to ensure that you were able to play for us. I think it's safe to say that you all smashed it, and hopefully you enjoyed playing a full set to a proper crowd. We have had so much positive feedback about both the duo set and the two band sets, we couldn't be happier with how the day went and you guys really made massive difference to our reception and we are so glad we waited to see you in full swing."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Angela’a Son’s Wedding – August 2025 Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio were brilliant at our son’s wedding. They arrived promptly, set up without any fuss, played two brilliant sets , were very generous with their time and got everyone dancing. Mike called the dances clearly and gave people chance to have a quick practice. Mike encouraged everyone and the dance floor never emptied. The band really helped make the wedding very special."

"Everyone loved the music so much! We just wanted to say thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! (30th September 2023 Saturday St Stephens, Pond Street, Hampstead, London, NW3 2PP) Everyone loved the music so much! Apologies for any confusion over your location, it was meant to be inside but it was /such a nice day I think Patrick and Angie directed you outside which worked anyway. I wasn’t sure if you guys had any of the canapés, I did ask them to make sure you had some but I didn’t hear you have a break either so apologies if you didn’t. Absolutely brilliant and such lovely people too. We booked wraggle taggle for our wedding, Mick was responsive, organised and gave us plenty of options regarding instruments, set times etc. On the day the band were brilliant, all the guests loved them, and they were really friendly lovely people.
