Review Centre: Wedding Bands

" Somerset Soul and Rebecca performed at our wedding in December 2021 and they were absolutely fantastic. Rebecca is a great singer and the band are superb musicians - there were great guitar solos. At the end of the evening and following the wedding, so many of our guests told us that they thought they were a great wedding band, and the dancefloor was full for the whole evening. They responded and reacted to the crowd expertly. The set list was a great selection of genres and decades, enjoyed by 3 generations. Rhona, their manager, was great to deal with before the wedding - she asked us questions, she shared an example set list, and she arranged for the first dance to be played."

"Suzy, Work hard, play hard is definitely a philosophy that most Army officers subscribe to – I hope we didn’t offend! Thank you for making the night very very enjoyable. The band all round was first class and I have heard some positive comments from everyone I have spoken to. I will share these thoughts with other members of the Army who are looking for a willing, positive and excellent band to grace their regimental or seasonal gatherings. "Shakers Gold were recommended to us for our wedding and we will be doing the same! We opted for the Jazz duo followed by the four piece band and DJ and couldn't be happier with how the whole night went! The band were discreet to set up/shut down and the transition between band and DJ was so smooth. The band had everyone up on the dancefloor within minutes of playing and we remained there all night! It was a brilliant atmosphere and we can't thank them enough."

You guys were literally awesome and I can't tell you how many people just kept saying to me 'the band is INCREDIBLE!'. Also thank you for performing our first dance song specially for us - I know it wasn't part of your usual repertoire and it was completely beautiful! I hope you had a safe journey home. "Our wedding was the most perfect day and these guys made it more perfect than I could have imagined .Their energy is infectious and every guest commented on how brilliant they were. The attention to detail was second to none from singing me down the aisle. Live music during drinks reception and the. Full DJ and live music throughout the evening. "Modern super swing band were the perfect band to play at our wedding. They were prompt, friendly, and professional, and best of all they looked like they were enjoying it as well! They were great at reading the mood of our guests and playing songs to suit the different times of day that they played for us. All our guests were up and dancing and loved the band. We’d definitely recommend them for any occasion as they helped to create a great atmosphere and the quality of the musicianship was extremely high."

"The Leathernecks played at our wedding reception at our local village hall. Having had great communication from the start, we knew we were in safe hands. But the band impressed us, and our guests, so much more than we could have asked for. All the team at the village hall commented on how professional and talented they were, truly respecting the hall and its local residents while giving us an amazing time. Gosh these guys are talented! Guests danced all night and had the best time with something for everyone. The guys even took the time to find us to say goodbye too. Really nice group of guys, very talented and we all want to listen to them again! Would definitely recommend! Thanks so much The Leathernecks for being amazing!"

"Ian & Sam were just superb. We hired them for our NYE event and they we professional from the off set. Ian replied speedy and put me at easy and made the booking process and discussing our event extremely easy which filled me with confidence. On the day this only continued, they arrived promptly and were extremely adaptable on setting up and adjusting to our space. All our guests only had great feedback and they made the evening one to remember. I’d highly recommend them for any event. Many thanks to you both!"
