"Highly recommend the band for any events! The Pretty Ugly were: ➡️ very helpful during the planning of the event ➡️ super punctual ➡️ prompt and prepared ➡️ friendly and communicative ➡️ covered a wide range of commercial music, from their own songs to cover musics ➡️ practiced and played a couple of musics picked by us ➡️ have a great presence on stage Would definitely rehire them for another event! "

"Cannot recommend the good citizens enough! They played at our wedding last weekend and really got the crowd going! They ensured they played a mix of songs for all different music tastes, the energy was brilliant and so many guests approached us asking where we found them! We had a great dance and the crowd absolutely loved them, thankyou again from Mary & Vikram you were class!"

"The band were fantastic and everyone had a great time dancing all night. Two people have said when they need a band for birthdays or parties they will be booking The Hot Hats. Alfie was great in planning the playlist for the DJ option and the songs he played live were just great! Thank you for a great night."

"As Mayor of Whiston I have twice booked Sarah for various events, I find Sarah both proffessional and friendly , which is very hard to achieve in a packed room .Sarah was exceptional both times with the audience asking for "more please" Whiston thanks you Sarah , and you have definitely made my year go with a swing . Your rendition of September for our first dance was perfect, sounded great and was so much fun to dance to, as we'd hoped it would be! "Even though it literally was a last minute request, Sarah-Jane put me onto mira k duo who were absolutely fantastic, if you are looking for intimate and not over the top music at your event/party then I would look no further. After booking I was given their personal phone number and even offered to make my own playlist from their already substantial repertoire, think of seeing a band and you deciding on the set list! Thank you so much for making everything go smoothly and stress free. My partner had an amazing 40th"

"We booked this band for my dad's 80th birthday party and everyone loved them. They arrived on time to do all of their sound checks. They performed their hearts out all night and were full of good humour and each member was friendly and approachable. They played a good range of music for all the generations at the party and they even came and asked us what tracks we would like in the break so that it would feel like our party. I would have them back again and would definitely recommend! Thanks guys - you gave us all a brilliant night. (July 2022)"
