Review Centre: Bagpipers

"Robin played at our wedding on the 6th April at Crossbasket Castle and to say he was 5 star would be an understatement. Robin played from an hour before the wedding as our guests arrived; he piped Elaine down the aisle and us both back; he played during the drinks reception and then finally he piped us in to the reception. So many of our guests commented about Robin and how excellent he was and how he contributed hugely to a really great wedding for us and our guests. From the point we started talking to Robin about playing at our wedding he was incredibly helpful with choice of Kilt to wear and a host of suggestions of tunes to play, Overall, we cannot speak highly enough of Robin who is totally professional but also so friendly and engaging. He features a lot in the videos and photos of both the official photographer and videographers but also of all our guests We thoroughly recommend him. "

"Wow! We secured Stevie to pipe at our wedding just a couple of weeks before the big day after seeing him at our venues’s open day and we are so glad we did. He made all the difference to our wedding day. Stevie was a big hit with our guests and even took requests. He really added to the atmosphere and enjoyment. "We hired Robin to help celebrate my Mother's 70th birthday event at the Corinthian in Glasgow. Nothing was too much to ask and Robin was extremely accommodating with all our requests, including presenting my Mother with a red rose as she departed from her chauffer driven car. The flower was a special touch and welcomed by Robin, without hesitation as an additional request. Our chosen tunes were instantly recognisable, pitch perfect and all the family very emotional watching our Mother being piped into the venue by a Scottish Piper, playing the wonderful Caledonia. Thankyou so much Robin for helping to make our Mother's birthday a very special one!! Kind Regards The Melvin Clan"

"Fantastic hearing the bagpipes played in the middle of Kent at my uncles funeral, Rob was really understanding and helpful in the currant situation, Incredibly smart, played all the tunes we requested, I would definitely recommend him for any occasion. "John played beautifully and at the perfect tone/pitch at my Aunt’s funeral. From first contact to discussing things direct with the funeral directors the booking process was straightforward which for these events is necessary. Everyone commented on how having his presence made my Aunt’s farewell more personal and moving. I would recommend John 100%"
