"I would recommend Jess most highly!! I was asked to find a vintage band for a wake, due to such short notice to find people I decided to search for a singer instead and came across Jess. Jess replied back straight away and was very professional. I felt at ease and trusted her for this delicate occasion. Jess arrived in plenty of time to get herself set up and begin on time. The repertoire was absolutely wonderful and people were commenting to how amazing her voice was. Jess sung her heart out and the passion for what she does oozed out. If you are thinking of booking Jess you will not be disappointed!"

"Thursday night was a blast. Couldn’t have gone any better! On Thursday the 25th of January, the Exeter Caledonian Society hosted a Burns Night Ball accompanied by the Black Velvet Band. The band was brilliant. Their musical prowess, stamina and all round musicianship was a joy to work with - and to listen to - making the night ever better. I am so thankful for what they did. The band is easy to work with, knowledgeable about timings and can cater to any requirements. "

I'm very impressed you could cater for our 3 year old through to my 93 yr old gran!! She is usually in bed most of the day so was awesome to see her up and dancing "

"The best band ever! We absolutely loved having The Will Blake Band at our wedding. They were one of the absolute highlights of the day! every said they were amazing! Will’s beautiful red piano immediately catches your eye, and the energy and professionalism of the whole band was incredible. The female vocalists looked fantastic in their gold glittery dresses, and the guys had subtle touches of gold too - they all looked polished, fun, and ready to put on a show. We opted for the six-piece band! During dinner, Will played the piano beautifully, it felt like we were in a classy, fun jazz bar with low lights and great music. Guests at the table next to him kept giving requests, and honestly, Will is like a human jukebox. During the drinks reception, the saxophone performance was fantastic, and before dinner, Will had everyone up on their feet for our entrance song. We trusted him to choose the perfect track, and he nailed it, it couldn’t have been better. Their performance exceeded all expectations. They don’t just play the songs they perform them and Will on the piano is the star of the show. Their customer service was brilliant, their professionalism was spot-on, and the energy and talent they brought to the stage was perfect. If you’re considering booking them for your wedding or any party, do it, you will not regret it. Everyone was on the dance floor all night - a really great mix of songs and you can let Will know if you have any specific ones for your big day. Thank you so much to Will and the whole band for making our day so special. Absolutely AWESOME. 10 Stars!!!!"

"The Eccentrics were amazing, from the minute I spoke to Archie I knew he would play the sort of music I wanted for the first family get together since lockdown. Really good fun, upbeat, quirky, great singsong choice and NO SOPPY ED SHEERAN - plus a personalised song about pickled eggs, what more do you need!! Would highly recommend this duo"

"How can I praise Tom high enough. We booked him for our daughter Jessicas wedding and she asked him to do a special mix for her first dance with Calum, which was unique and very appropriate to the happy couple. From that moment onwards he had everyone on the dance floor, from young to old. What a great evening. He is an extremely talented singer and I would recommend him highly for any special occasion. "

Contact with Helen to make the booking was quick and easy, on the day they were on time, friendly and professional and, most importantly, they played beautifully. "For 13 years I have coordinated highly successful ceilidh dances in Bishopbriggs High School and now the new Bishopbriggs Academy. These Christmas dances are the culmination of 3 weeks of social dance with all year groups and it it a priority of mine that we have live music to create an upbeat atmosphere. I consider it part of my job to ensure these traditional dances are taught in school in a way pupils will enjoy and will perpetuate. This year I secured the services of The Shooglers for our S5/6 dance. The evening was a fantastic success and enjoyed immensely by pupils and staff alike. The band worked a perfect blend of traditional Scottish dance tunes with contemporary music the pupils are familiar with, which heightened their participation in – and positive attitude to – “social dancing”. I have already asked the band to perform at next year’s S5/6 dance in the school. I know it will be a special occasion. I recommend The Shooglers unreservedly to anyone hosting school dances, weddings or any kind of function. "
